Texy Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Jagmohan Dalmiya.....born in Calcutta..... was ousted by Sharad Pawar who became BCCI chief. Now that Dalmiya is back after defeating Prashun Mukherjee with an overwhelming majority..... what will be his next step???? Will he get along with Dada??
Texy Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 he's out on bail....he was arrested for "misappropriation of BCCI funds"

suraj Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 He owes 50 lakhs to the father of a friend of mine and refuses to pay back. Folks like these should be forced to live in poverty forever seriously dowsn't it burn you at all that most folks like us are trying to earn an honest living working hard but we are still pushed by our bosses and companies & told to perform better and thieves like these make merry on other folks' hard earned money??
Cricketics Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Soon our bowling openers would be - dinda and Bose in batting - laxxmi shukla and ganguly opening

sandtest Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 If, Jag man is a corrupt babu then Sharad Powar is father of all corruptions. Sharad Powar can easily dwarf 100s of such Jag mans in India. Some agency should check his records when he was chief minister of Maharashtra under Congress. Just to name a few of his hardworks in this field - he single handedly ensured that acres of lands are grabbed and transferred to his coteries within an year. Local Marathi newspapers cried helplessly, while he was aptly termed as "Bhookhand Ghotala Mahapurush" by Manohar Joshi. He still gives lovely speeches for struggle of landless farmers and farmer suicides in Vidarbh. :giggle:
sandtest Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I say, we need 10s of such highly corrupt Dalmiyas to counter Powar. Let these two corrupts kill each other and then BCCI can be reformed from scratch. Sometimes you need a wolf to intimidate the bigger wolf. If they really want to reform BCCI, then it should be made a Public Limited Comany with listings in NSE/BSE stock market. Let BCCI be managed by IIM grads, with full public Audit for share holders. We will see the radical difference in an year.
Dirty_South Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 This pic of Dalmia seems like as if he is about to grab a pair.....:giggle: :haha:

Looks like the still that appears just before the interval in a Bollywood movie. In the first half of the movie, the villains will make the hero suffer, put him in jail etc. The hero's revenge begins with something dramatic that happens just before the halftime-break.
Ram Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 So, he's back.. Great news for Indian cricket! :headbang:
SachDan Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Soon our bowling openers would be - dinda and Bose in batting - laxxmi shukla and ganguly opening His powers will be restricted just up to CAB....Pawar is too strong for Dalmiya.
