Srilanka was a sh..itty and boring team..... n they will remain like that always.... they ll win here and there with M&M.. but more often they will suck.... jus cuz theyl won a test match doesnt mean they won the series...they lose the next match.......hit and miss shewag will walk early in the next game n so will indiaz hope....

Rajiv Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 ..good, else I am already searching for different threads to post on! -------- P.S - Good one Dhondy, trying to tease some :cantstop:
Desi Cartman Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 jus cuz theyl won a test match doesnt mean they won the series...they lose the next match.......hit and miss shewag will walk early in the next game n so will indiaz hope.... ok, I hope they prepare another turning track and then we will see :yay::yay::yay: BTW Im impressed by Sri lanka that finally they have found a spinner who doesnt chuck .. well done :hatsoff:
King Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Contrary to what is written here, Sri Lankans are excellent people and are very easy to get along with. Their cricketers are very rounded and down to earth. One or two could be an exception but they are modest bunch of people and great company. I hope the last test match is a gripping one rather than one sided. Sets up the series quite nicely.
Desi Cartman Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 i also have 2 Sri lankan colleagues... ajj inkee aayse tesee kar deni hai paji. yaar actually Sri lankas are very nice people .. they dont sledge and never rub it in ... anyway MAAAAKI ne le li sab ki :yay::yay::yay:
Sachinism Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 brilliant win massive props to Sehwag and Bhaji
zubinpepsi Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 jus cuz theyl won a test match doesnt mean they won the series...they lose the next match.......hit and miss shewag will walk early in the next game n so will indiaz hope.... I dint claim tht we won the series.... you bunch were claiming n writin in the papers asif u had won the series.. but we have the class to comeback strongly n win the series n we have showed it before.. and do u have any such instances to boast about your team... oh hang mite be when the full series is held on SSC... where the biggest home track bully (read: Mahela) can pile centuries upon centuries... mebe you shoud jus stop playing overseas.. jus keep playing only in SSC.. then u ll reach no.1 very soon...
King Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Excellent win on two accounts. One, it proves it doesn't matter what type of tracks one prepares this Indian team can make you pay. You will only need to think about Perth victory. Aussies spoke all summer about incapability of Indians to win on bouncy track and were thrashed in their own bouncy track. Now Sri Lankans are beaten in their own home grown spinners track. Ask South Africa or England and they will mention how their batsmen struggled against Indian pacemen when they prepared green tops. Now this Indian team will gain a lot from this knowing they are ready to face anyone on any type of track. All they need to do in the rest of the series is to keep Mendis and Murali at bay. That truly is a tough ask.
Dhondy Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Great win. Only the third time a Sehwag century, of his 15, has ended in victory for India. I believe the 1026 runs scored in this Test match will be among the lowest, if not the very lowest aggregate in four completed innings, where a double hundred has been scored. Boss or Tapioca will confirm. Saved us from certain defeat at Adelaide, and now singlehandedly wins this match for us. A genius batsman.

That truly is a tough ask. Right Ravi. Now the Srilnakan curators and team management would be very confused. They simply dont know what kind of pitch to prepare for the next match. Out batsmen played spin and pace equally well, bother our pacers and spinners bowled brilliantly. Now they just dont know what to do in the next match.
