Athavale, who is being sidelined by his coalition partner NCP, has now threatened legal action against show producers and the television channel 'Colors' for not including him as a contestant. He alleged they discriminated against him since he is a Dalit. MUMBAI: Republican Party of India (RPI) president Ramdas Athawale's supporters today attacked the office of TV channel 'Colors', alleging he was dropped from its reality show `Bigg Boss-2' because of being a Dalit. A group of RPI activists stormed the channel office in suburban Andheri and damaged furnitures, police said. The group was protesting against the private channel for the "injustice" to Athawale, who heads the largest faction of the RPI, they added. BTW....Sanjay Nirupam was the first house mate to be kicked out!........:hysterical: I am not surprised those guys backing out on Athawale....these so calleddalit leaders are always looking for an excuse to create "dalit" controversy.This would have been a perfect opportunity for Athawale to set upa dalit controversy .......maybe taking a cue from shilpa aunty....:--D
