from a chance of inflicting a crushing innings defeat,we now have a position of where aus can think of saving the test. our captain dhoni had a big part in it 1.did not enforce the follow on 2.dropped two crucial catches. 3.when watson came in his first five boundaries were at third man,but the stupid captain did not care to place a men there.zak n ishant suffered the ignominy.watson got settled n punished india afterwards 4.wen lee came mishra was bowling to him & it looked just a matter of time before he fell.but dhoni took the new ball n brought his pacers on. 5.wen the second new ball did not swing n ishant was struggling was watson was clobbering him, dhoni persisted with him.he could have brought on ganguly with a semi new ball just to change things up. clearly dhoni has ensured dont win it easily.god knows wat 'd have happened if we lost the toss n not made such a huge score.we wud have been in deep shyt imo.

our bowlers needed a break they just bowled over 100 overs, also since we dont have to bat last, aussies will be in survival mode defending till the end.

are u nuts or are u trying to get some attention in this board by posting rubbish..i don know how much u know abt cricket but i sure do know that Allan Border knows a helluva lot than you and he was praising every single move of Dhoni.. first of all the pitch is still flat and it was a great performance from our bowlers to have got them out for 268..Dhoni not enforcing the follow on was vindicated by our openers..they had a rollicking start and that shows how good the pitch is..so thats a very good decision.. second before the new ball was taken Amit Mishra was looking a bit flat and Dhoni din let the game drift away by just persisting with him and he was proactive and immediately called his fast bowlers to get the job done and that move almost paid off if not for the fuccking Rudi Koertzen who din give a plumb LBW against Watson, the very first ball of Ishant.. ok all ur other theories just sounds plain stupid as i said either you are trying to grab attention in this board by harping against MSD or u have gone nuts..i hope u are the latter category

nope i'm neither. allan border may know better ,but even shastri( i know he knows better than u ) pointed a few mistakes by dhoni as i have said.of course it was muted n praise was much more, but thats bcoz indiia in a better position. a'rollicking' start by our openers only vindicates my point. the pitch, as u said is still flat. n so we will need as much time as possible to enforce the result.expect a better performance from aussie batsman. before the new ball was taken mishra was taken for boundaries but they were risky one .he was causing problems otherwise. also the lbw u r talking about was in the over that ishant bowled with the old ball. the ball was reversing. even more reason to delay the new ball.

:cantstop: we may just have found a replacement for amits folks! so, you want to give a flat pitch to aussies, and a deteriorating pitch to us?

sachin rox, see a doctor. You have some personal grudge against Dhoni? For the past 2/3 days you have been running a personal campaign against this guy. Get over it man. Stop creating BS threads.

u r not getting it. the pitch is flat n will remain so. so if oz batsman apply themselves it will be very hard to remove them.so we may need much more time.even if it deteriorates on last day n we have 100 to chase , they have no spinner to exploit it.

this is a BS thread because it lacks logic and common sense..if India had enforced the follow on do you think we wud have bundled them out for 300 or so..well ok thats what you think but the majority of us think that Aussies will get back to the game and they do have the firepower to do so..Hayden has not been firing yet and that monster just needs a challenge to lift his game..so why give him a chance when the pitch is still flat and why give the dangerous Punter a challeng which we all know he will raise his game accordingly when the pitch is still flat Rather let our players make use of the conditions till tea in the 4th day after which the pitch will not be that flat as it was yesterday and give our bowlers more than 120 overs to bundle Aussies out which i think is more than enuf..remember a 4th innings Bhajji is much more dangerous than a 3rd innings bhajji with all the bounce from the rough..and Mishra having bowled so splendidly on batting conditions could create more trouble for the aussies when there is more assistance for him.. So all in all a very good decision by MSD and thats y ppl call this a BS thread..get it..
