pitches were relaid this year, and if the most recent game (mohd. nissar trophy) is anything to go by, Aus have a good chance of drawing the game. delhi scored 500 odd in the 3rd inning. however, the sui gas waale had a very AAG oriented attack. Of the two spinners, one was mohd. hafeez. so one spinner. who was crap (my default assumption with pak players, somehow) and didn't pick up a wicket. chetanya nanda picked up 3 in the 2nd innings, so probably there is some bite there...

All it takes is couple of wickets and the rest will fold due to pressure. Aussies aren't capable of batting under pressure unless of course the umpires help them heaps.

The Indian bowlers have no excuse. There are a ton of footmarks, both Mishra and Kumble got alarming and bounce which beat even the slip fielders. Really the pitch from tomorrow morning is going to be all for spin and if the spinners can't take those wickets with 8 sessions then we should just stop playing now.

ok just saw the highlights. The pitch is DRY and breaking. There are "puffs of dust" almost every ball. And did you see how big Mishra turned the ball? Even Kumble turned the ball a mile. Peace.

well it remains to be seen... i still maintain that we declared a session too early. we ought to have batted till lunch today, or how so ever late we could have batted and then had long sessions at the aussies on the field.

if kumble cannot 'spin' us to victory' date=' he should be graceful and resign. Time to move on, if we cannot seal the series here.[/quote'] well then he might as well resign, because we will be bouncing us to victory.
