So from now on the word "blacklist" will be the good list and "whitelist"? P.S The Crowd Booed Obama in Maccains speech where they were less people than a regular Indian marriage reception

Congratulations to President elect Barack Obama. Although I think the greater political victory was when he beat Hillary Clinton to get the Democratic nomination. It was always going to be a Democratic win after 8 years of George Bush, and a crumbling economy. That Obama rallied to beat the money and political clout of the Clintons within the Democratic party, by mobilising huge support bases was the greatest achievement. America has come a long way since Rosa Parks refused to vacate a bus seat in Montgomery , Alabama . A historic moment for African Americans.

Whats the big deal. We elected a women ages ago and have elected a white italian women and now have a minority sikh as prime minister. And had a muslim president. The yanks are way behind the times:--D
well....Manmohan singh is a prime minister by 'chance'...not 'choice'...he would never stand a chance even in 100years to win an election on his own...India, though way ahead of Pakistan in terms of literacy, still has a shyt load of population who don't know what 'economy' and 'Honesty' means...they would rather vote someone like laloo prasad or uma bharati or the latest jackass like Raj Thackrey who needs goons by his side to show his power.

He would stand a chance now as his profile has risen greatly

Big deal. What's the big hue and cry? Just another national election.
Exactly! People are over egging the importance as if the whole world is gonna change cos the USA has a president who is half black. I am going to miss Bush. The amount of comedy moments he provided was unbeliavable. He made me laugh so many times over the last 8 years!

I hope he goes by President Barack Hussein Obama. to piss the assows off. also, McCain pledges full support to a guy who palled around with terrorists. Phew, I'm glad we didn't elect that guy.

Congrats Obama. Atleast I don't have to turn the TV off when I see the US president on TV for the next 4 years.
You may have to turn off the TV when Daily Show or Colbert Report comes on though. With Bush gone I suspect the comedy industry is now going to go into recession. :nervous:

I hope not. Plus, Joe Lieberman, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Bill O'Reilly,Sean Hannity,et.al are all still going to be on television so I know that the Colbert Report will not suffer from it. :-D I love that show.
