Are aussies ball tampering?

Are the umpires going to report the aussies and ponting and will the match referee take any action? This is justs a joke now 1. Clear evidence of ball tampering. Clear TV footage. 2. Slow over rates again. 3. Ponting continually arguing with the umpires like with the over throws, ball tampering and other occassions. Can't do it, action has to be taken.

I saw the footage for the first time ... Cam White was plucking leather off the ball ... you can not do that. Lets see if anything happens to them. Reverse swing is due to a disparity in weight between the different sides of the ball. When you pluck a chunk of leather from one side, that disparity gets magnified and the ball reverses more.

Why are you guys exaggerating unnecessary context of the game ? Lets talk about the ball tampering when the officials do report the issue to the referee. Cricketics is just asking a question and not saying that they DID tamper the ball. This forum is slowly turning into a racist one, quite disheartening.

^ I do not condone any racist remarks made but on the issue itself ... don't you think the video evidence was fairly damning. White was blatantly removing leather from the ball. There was a lot more evidence here than in the Pakistan case at the Oval (where Australian cricketers lauded Darryl Hair for just doing his job) Now if that needed to be done ... he must inform the captain and the captain must ask the umpires permission and remove the leather in front of the umpires. That didnt happen and the necessary action should be taken. If this gets swept under the rug, then its another example of the Australian cricket team getting away without penalty from the ICC. Thats not a racist remark. I am just fed up with the Australian cricket team critcising other teams about their poor records yet nothing will happen about this meaning the Aussies can maintain a clean sheet.

Look bluebrigade is right. There was nothing malicious or devious about it. The thing is the bit of leather would have been removed anyway be it by the umpire or player. Techniquely it's a violation of the rules because the umpire is supposed to do it so Dar gave him a warning which is fine. But let's not get carried away. White didn't try and tamper with the ball so much as remove a part that was sticking out which is EXACTLY what the umpires would have done as well.
