Good luck to Dravid if he is selected for Mohali. But it may be better for him to go to domestics and work it out. However, if MSD picks him in the 11, lets all hope for a century from the Great Legend :cheer:
What has happened to your "realistic" point of view now? You constantly nag others for hoping about something difficult not to mention your constant reminders of Tendulkar being a choker so unable to deliver in the future, but when it comes to Dravid looks like your "realistic" take on life and cricket takes a back seat?

Hmmmmm...are you thinking what I am thinking? A relative of the "Wall" maybe? Mrs Wall even??? Intriguing.

The worrying thing about Dravid's run of poor form is that its his defensive technique that is letting him down and thats an alarming sign. Its not as though he is trying to force the pace most times, goes for an outrageous shot and gets out. Most of his dismissals are defensive prods and pushes.

Dravid's form is seriously out...he is not even getting behind th line of the ball in his defence...his push was at an angle to the line of the ball he was seeking to defend when he got out in the 2nd innings...that shows you how out of form he is. His trademark play was a solid defence right behind the line of the ball...now he is struggling even with that. He needs to regain form either at a different position (1st drop is too critical a position) or in Ranji matches...

Like MSD said in Press' date=' if Dravid goes at 5, and India down 3 early in the match, then more Pressure for him ![/quote'] He makes a good point. And then he goes on to say:
... If you're coming in at No. 3, you come in at one wicket down, and that gives you the freedom to play your natural game."
Unfortunately, Dravid's current "natural game" *is* the problem. I really hope he plays an "unnatural" game and breaks out of this rut.

well natural or unnatural he has the freedom to do at no.3 (considering tht hes a dead weight and it wont matter much if he falls early) and not at no.5 when 3 wkts r gone in a flash...

If Dravid plays' date=' he should just come out swinging blindly like Afridi. With a lucky edge here and there before he gets out, he'll atleast end up making more runs than he will by batting like he normally does.[/quote'] He should watch this video a 100 times before he comes out to bat: s639N8mHeqc&feature=related
