PML-Q Senator Nisar Memon, who is also the chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Defence, said besides imposing economic sanctions upon India by halting all kinds of trade, Pakistan should also disallow exports from India to Afghanistan via Pakistan. He said, "Pakistan should halt all kind of trade with India including all exports from India." What a pantheon of Jokers. First they catch hold off some bakra from the streets of Lahore & call him Shukla from Kolkatta. Why would an Indian plant a car bomb to kill some unknown woman in Lahore & that too suddenly once the culprits behind the Mumbai attacks have been exposed ? Now the jokers claim to freeze trade with India ? Suit yourself jokers! 1) If the US & UK decide to call off the war against terror tomorrow Pakistan will go bankrupt in 6 months. They are surviving solely on the $3 B USD + $6 B PoundSterling grants from the resp govts. Such is the pathetic state of their economy 2) The only unique export (and their major export as well) they engage in, is terrorism. Guess what ? No country wants it. Their carpets, basmatic rice, cements etc arent unique products. Other countries can live without them, esp India. I have a feeling that the hollow iron container aka Pakistan's former national treasury is being filled with water in anticipation of a potential dam shutdown by India. Therefore, given that there is no room to store the money, the respectable Pakistani ministers are proactively stopping all exports to India. After Jamat-Ud-Dawa runs out of money and the cabinet ministers can no longer be paid, I reckon the trades will resume.
