cowboysfan Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 that is true to some extent in salary cap team sports but chennai and rajastan will still be considered favorites.

swami1984 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 that is true to some extent in salary cap team sports but chennai and rajastan will still be considered favorites. heh - especially if chennai gets freddy
Holysmoke Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 heh - especially if chennai gets freddy Freddie and KP not coming this year.
SachDan Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Mumbai Indians are making up for the bizzare selections they had last time. Atleast on paper they are emerging as the favorites. Mind you in the inaugral edition, MI were doing the catching up after their poor start with Sachin not playing in those matches. Would like to see Rohit Sharma too playing for MI. In T20 he's as effective as any other dashing batsman.
SachDan Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 can't wait when does it start?? 7th April ??:dance:
Holysmoke Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
sandtest Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 How improved new Uthappa is?? Did anyone watched him playing domestics? I know he is hard hitter, but he has some serious weaknesses in his technic when he keeps poking outside off deliveries.
cowboysfan Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 flamy-uthappa is what BRC needs-an indian batsman who can clear the boundary,its a good swap.
swami1984 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 flamy-uthappa is what BRC needs-an indian batsman who can clear the boundary' date='its a good swap.[/quote'] haha - mallya should have sweetened the deal by including jaffer along with zaheer to go to Mumbai. That way, it clears some (albeit negligible) salary cap space

Lord Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 i would throw in dravid and kumble into that -BRC needs to clean the house of deadwood. n kallis n chanderpaul n joshi
cowboysfan Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 n kallis n chanderpaul n joshi i would keep kallis and chanderpaul.
Lord Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 i would keep kallis and chanderpaul. then why drop dravid? he did quite well in last IPL.
cowboysfan Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 then why drop dravid? he did quite well in last IPL. because he is 36.i dont want our captain to be burden to the team. i hope this is his last season.
swami1984 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 because he is 36.i dont want our captain to be burden to the team. i hope this is his last season. I just mentioned jaffer since he's also a mumbaiite
cowboysfan Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 this team is not going to be fixed easily-we are going to be bottom feeders in the next 2 IPL at least.
Lord Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 because he is 36.i dont want our captain to be burden to the team. i hope this is his last season. 36? shane warne was 38 wen he led RR to the title.age cant be a criteria for quality players esp.captains
