Also Roti Boti is very good near NYC/NJ area residents closer to queens actually but the food is heaven.

I have heard that too often but never had a problem with it. The best food in the world are on the streets, including India. Be it chaats or paani puris or roadside Chinese stalls. Awesome!!

In fact, now that you have reminded me, might try pick up something for dinner from there tonight, though it's quite a subway ride.

Will definitely try the above place out. Just pulled it up on google maps and looks like it's pretty close to Jackson Heights.
