I think you are confusing it with cataract surgery ...
not really.... i thought just to get my vision perfect, that is the lazer eye surgery, it will be the most painful thing in the world.

scary sheet this and skydiving - two things that are tempting but I will never do.
I have been thinking about skydiving since last year....and I am still thinking about it. I do not intend to die mid-air from a VERY VERY strong heart attack :giggle:

so how is this done? is this correct? they flip the eye flap , and use laser to reconstruct the inside and put back the flap? nothing new is added in the eye it seems

i think they are basically planning to reshape the Cornea, for which nothing new would be added.

so do you wear glasses or contacts anymore? any problems you faced later, like dry eye or Mucus coming from eyes? your eye vision is still good or is it getting bad again?
I wore glasses since 6th Grade and Contacts for like 13 years I got my Laser Eye Surgery Done through Phiroze Dastoor http://www.phirozedastoor.com/ One of the best in India, ( he's come in 1 or 2 movies as well ) The proceudure was a breeze ( where I could see the laser coming closer and closer ) and the red light became clearer and clearer 1 week of take it easy with some drops Since then, not a single issue and still have 20/20 Vision - but that I also have carrot juice everyday Best decision ever and yes its been 9 years

10-15 mins, I was a guinea pig for the folks who ran away fter seeing the proceure on TV outside - the doc took me out to show everyone how brave I was Ppl literally walked away as he got scared My theory was simple - first was glasses, then were lenses now its laser and he's a big doctor so what can go wrong, remember this is 9 yrs ago when this was pretty new in India

But gotta scare you a bit The King of Queens" Sight Gag (2001) advertisement For Carrie's birthday, Doug decides to get her laser eye surgery. Doug brings her to the place, and the surgery is a success. The next day, Carrie wakes up to blurry vision. The next day she wakes up to the same thing. Doug calls up the doctor and asks if these symptoms are normal. The doctor says they are not normal, and Doug is now very nervous. Carrie finds out that Doug went to a cheap place, and used discounts.
