cochise Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Anyone ever attempted Paul Adam's action? Yeah...I did...never saw the world whirl round like that ever...it was a trip..but I got whiplash and had my neck in a brace! And the ball didn't even turn, only the scenery.

Kartikey Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 He was a fantastic spinner around the late 90's, early noughties.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 The inventor of DOOSRA Mercilessly dismissed SRT in the epic 1999 chennai test and the rest of the tail Dimpled smile later hidden by a bush of a beard.
dj85 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Crafty offspinner... lasting memories of him would have to be Sehwag slogging him over cow corner!
Macj Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Becoming a mullah with inzi and co Hmm its only a guess what name Danish Kaneria will take once.......

Shane Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 wasnt he a mullah before that?i think u r confusing him with mohammed yusuf youhana:haha: I think he meant being religious, and getting a beard and all
King Tendulkar Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I think he meant being religious, and getting a beard and all :haha: Note the black mark on the fore head. Which a lot of mullah muslims have and are proud of to show they smash their head 5 times a day in to the ground praying. I am sure a lot just aplly make up to look fundie

EnterTheVoid Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 that ridiculous f inig beard god, shave it i can buy you a razor if you want looks like one of those nutters from that dispatches show "undercover mosque"
DomainK Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Unfortunately the beard has become an outward show off of religiousness (and for others a sign of terror) for many people. Religion has become such a materialistic practice.
EnterTheVoid Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 ^^ seriously, whats with the outward showing of religiosity ... so over the top they grow beards and look like mullahs in a mosque After the 2007 WC, PJ mir said that: During training sessions, meetings etc, some would take like half hour breaks to go pray, and they do that 5 times a day everyday they even pray in hotel lobbies / gardens / planes i can remeber yousuf like praying and kissing the groud after he hit a 100 - geez

I don't see anything wrong with that. But the one time it really was over the top was after losing to us in the T20 Final, Malik had said "Sorry to all muslims around the world" or something like that. I was just pissed off. We have the 2nd largest Muslim population in the world - most of them rooting for India. The guy who won the MoM was Irfan. So it was a bit disturbing to watch that. I don't mind if you thank god for the performance, etc.
Kohum Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 An irritating ratface - that's all I can remember.
Cricketics Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 sehwag coming down the track to get his 300.. i remember a guy with similar name who played the role of protagonist in this moment

I can't speak of other places in India but in the city I used to live, probably 80% of them support Pak cricket team over India.
