Sachinism
Thought I'd make a thread since nobody else has West Indies A vs England Day 1 WIA are 343/2 :giggle: against a full bowling line up of England (Except Freddie) One of the wickets to fall was taken by KP lol Anderson got 1, Harmison 0, Sidebottom 0,Swann 0, Collingwood 0 Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
Why is England considered a contender for the top spot? They're a pretty crummy team that can hardly win at home, let alone abroad Link to comment

EnterTheVoid
^^ Thats why I am so surprised when I hear commentators say that England have a good chance of becoming the no 1 Test team by the end of the year as they play so many tests I can understand India / South Africa / Australia fighting for the no 1 spot, but England? With India and SA in the way, certainly not. Their attack is better than Australia's though.....once Freddie is back. Their spin sucks and batting is variable. Freddie and KP are the two players that the team is dependent on. But I think they are the favorites for Ashes. Link to comment
EnterTheVoid
^^ Every member on that team is dead rubber other than KP and Freddie. The last time they won the ashes, they didn't win it fair and square, .... , they f ******** used lollies to tamper the ball But, you're right, I think England are the favorites for the ashes. I would be rooting for England because it would leave a stain on Ponting's legacy if he were to hand over the urn twice Link to comment

coffee_rules
WI A is playing for a draw in a 3 day match. What are batting on for? No points for moral victory! Link to comment
Predator_05
It's okay. England are only using this series as preparation for the Ashes. Like the results on the Indian tour, these results don't matter since they are only practice matches. Link to comment
