coffee_rules Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Gajini Silva. 3 wkts for SL. Great performance.
DomainK Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 :haha::haha::haha::haha::haha::haha: Kadamby is a good candidate already.
Predator_05 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESHANT SHARMA has to be Man of the Match. Awesome bowling at the death. Totally made up for those two fours he gave up to make the match close.
graphic23 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Though Ishant was awesome for the 4 wickets he picked up at that excellent 49th over, I think Kandamby will get the award, deservedly so.
coffee_rules Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 or Whoever tampered with the bail!
Predator_05 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Kandamby's innings will be praised and rightfully so, but can you imagine the reaction on this forum if an Indian had played an innings like that ? People would be calling him selfish, an average booster, match loser and what not.

They lost the match that that stage.
Desi Cartman Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I think the Lanakan umpire deserves it .. as a trophy he should be awarded that stump and should be ordered to shove it ...........

Ball was doing a fair bit, especially during the initial stages and the circumstances (3 down early on) required some slow partnership building. The difference between winning and losing is just a mis-hit here and there. I thought both did really well to haul SL back into it after that disastrous start.
Sachinism Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 That umpire cocked up, but wasn't it Jerking who gave out Sachin
vadodaravictor Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Ishant deserved it. His last over (49th over in the match) was effin brilliant. That over sealed the deal for us pretty much.
