Mr. Wicket
Kambli, Badani, Robin Singh, Dahiya, Joshi, Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag... what a lousy middle-lower order we had then. Link to comment
graphic23
We haven't won this one yet. Nothing is a revenge for that match. We just folded like cards (even worse). Unless we get SL all out for 50 after making 300+, nothing is a revenge for that match. Link to comment

coffee_rules
Dravid was injured for the series. So, he was regular in the ODIs by then. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Worth checking out Tendulkar's figures that day. Bowling figs, that is! Link to comment

But beating their top team without our top team in SL, is a big deal. Live the moment while it lasts. We lost that match to Jayachuriya. Link to comment

Can you believe that we also played bowlers like Mohanty, Dodda Ganesh and David Jhonson? Those were desperate times. Link to comment

Mr. Wicket
Ah yes. Dodda the legendary medium-slow bowler. David Johnson, a 130 kmh merchant with the run up and delivery of a 150 kmh guy, and the accuracy of a schoolkid. Frightening to think that we kept finding bowlers worse than Agarkar throughout the late 90s! Link to comment

coffee_rules
Anybody remember Bhupinder SIngh (sr?)? He had a comical action. Played a match against Pak in Sharjah. He was embarassment in the Johnson grade. http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/india/content/player/26942.html Link to comment
amits
the revenge for that match was taken in the 180+ run thrashing which we gave to sl in the 2003 wc Link to comment

coffee_rules
I dont care about this match. i wanna revenge the blooddy 1996 WC SF match as well as the 2007 Wc match. 1996 WC SF match was avenged in 1999 WC match when Ganguly and Dravid toyed with them in Taunton. We won again in 2003 WC. They came back and sent us out of 2007 WC. Now, we have taken a revenge with back-to-back bi-lat ODI series wins. We will start with a clean slate for the 2011 WC!
