flamy Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Seems like all the doods that can get their hand around a bat - even the likes of Kula-Shaker - like to B->B-> I really really really wish he gets back to bowling form ( He was MoM at Perth.
DomainK Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Irfan can not do anything on a flat pitch. Give him a bot of a helpful track and he will be a handful. I am afraid he can not be a permanent member of this team.
Ram Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Patience please, patience. Sometimes, things are not as bad as they look.
DomainK Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Patience please, patience. Sometimes, things are not as bad as they look. Sidhu used to say: "The Kenyan bowlers are not as bad as they look, they are worse.":D
Sachinism Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I'd like to give him another run, but Balaji should play a game too And I'm really looking forward to seeing Jadeja play Irfan may need to wait longer, they may even take him as a back to NZ behind Zak, Sharma and Kumar
cochise Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I really really really wish he gets back to bowling form It didn't happen today...but it will. I really like this guy....he has the goods in him in great measure.
flamy Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 It didn't happen today...but it will. I really like this guy....he has the goods in him in great measure. ya me too... :icflove::icflove::icflove: I love how he swings it both ways.
graphic23 Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 ^ doesn't have pace though. Neither does Praveen but he keeps it accurate and no long-hops or half-volleys, etc. Irfan is pretty poor in that dept. But yah, I hope he comes good soon.
cochise Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 ^ doesn't have pace though Can be fixed. Does he look like a guy that CAN have pace? I love how he swings it both ways. Bingo! Besides, I have seen him bowl some of the BEST deliveries I have ever seen in my life...where it began to swing one way and then swung the other...like magic! He is a maestro, when on song! I cannot forget this guy. He is something very special.
cowboysfan Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 look at praveen kumar-he has been awesome this series swinging it both ways and bowling very tidy overs.irfan has lost all confidence especially since everyone and his grandma is looking to go after him.
cochise Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 I love how he swings it both ways. Flamy...innuendo ya? Naughty owl. Don't think like that. Think straight as an arrow. :D
punjabi_khota Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 ya me too... :icflove::icflove::icflove: I love how he swings both ways. fixed
cochise Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 irfan has lost all confidence especially since everyone and his grandma is looking to go after him. Have you seen Irfan at his best? Can you really compare Praveen at his best to Irfan? No. Irfan is the swingmeister man. He has done it before...he just needs to rediscover it. He will.
DomainK Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Balaji of the old was damn good. I am so keen to see him bowl again.
Show_stopper Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Don't play him in the sub-continent and we will be fine.

He will. umm-that is exactly what i meant-even pk is outbowling irfan-that is a steep decline.irfan still has the swing but too many 4 balls and he doesnt know what to do when batsmen go after him-really clueless and that is not good on odis.
cochise Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Balaji of the old was damn good. I am so keen to see him bowl again. Yes! Another wonderful talent! The smiling assassin!

Patience. He will come back. He has done it before, he will do it again. He is also a "rise to the occasion" player. Chuck him in a more challenging match and watch him go.
donkey Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 He changed his bowling action already, I doubt he could regain his original banana swing. Also this is his 5th-6th come-back series, we should know better by now.
