SachDan Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Best buys - Kyle Mills for $150000 (Mumbai Indians) and Jerome Taylor for $150000 (Kings X1) Worst buys - Mortaza for $600000 (Knight Riders)!! and Ravi Bopara for $450000 (Kings X1) unbelievable! no takers - Sakib and Sarwan !!
bunny Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Why did nobody buy Ashraful? He was available for 50K...In T20s he is better than lots of international stars.
SachDan Posted February 6, 2009 Author Posted February 6, 2009 Why did nobody buy Ashraful? He was available for 50K...In T20s he is better than lots of international stars. MI bought him for the reserve price of $75000
Zap_Brannigan Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 CSK needs a bowler not freddie..We already have a star studded batting line up with Hayden,Hussey,Raina, Dhoni and Morkel. Hope SA and SL players play the fill trny this time. But if they did, Hayden Hussey Raina Dhoni Flintoff Nitini Balaji Gony lineup looks great on paper.
Gambit Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Ashraful can turn out to be a great pick for MI. He always makes attractive 20s and 30s. This looks like a terrific lineup - SJ SRT Dhawan Duminy Nayar Bravo Ashraful

DomainK Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I am liking the way MI is shaping up. Some intelligent picks there.

As much as I hate English players, Flintoff is the one who has improved his bowling a lot over the years He is poms best bowler and as addtion, he is a destructive batsman CSK now have 4 amazing allrounders Albie, Oram, Flintoff and DHONI
bharat297 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 That's a good lineup. What bowling options does Mumbai have apart from ZK and Bhajji? Isnt Zak in Bangalore?
Guest Hiten. Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 That's a good lineup. What bowling options does Mumbai have apart from ZK and Bhajji? Malinga, Nel
Dirty_South Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Malinga' date=' Nel [/quote'] Ashwell Prince (USD 150,000), Andre Nel (USD 120,000) found no takers.
Lord Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 i was surprised about bopara, but i think its not as bad as it looks.i like the guy.he can handle pressure. about taylor,he is quite lethal on his day.brett lee n taylor combo is deadly.
Shane Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 For someone who watches the English County Championship, will know all about his prowess, he can smash em a long way once in !!! A useful allrounder !!! I remember watching a Pro 40 game for Essex when he smashed a 100 of 69 balls, he was devastating !!!
BigCricket Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I think Mortaza will be a good buy for SRK as he can bat and ball and we know this kind of players can do anything. KP is worst for me:D
