SachDan Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Former Indian captain Azharuddin formally joins congress ! :giggle:
Gambit Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 This SOB's speaking style hasn't changed at all. The only thing missing in his interview was the word 'boys'.
ucilite Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 this is hilarious...congress getting desperate here...
veeru_rocks Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 I think Congress party will suit him better next time if he indulges in greater level of thuggery rest assured sonia mata will bail himn out just like her jeeja Quttrochi
beetle Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 The B@$t@rd can sell his country once again!
bunny Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Now he will fix elections? WTF? As if they were not fixed already. ppl here need to get off of Azhar's back. Hansie Cronje was voted as the 11th greatest South African (even after he admitted to match fixing)...let bygones be bygones.

Guest Hiten. Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 One definitely has to have an infamous record to join politics. First Sanjay dutt (possessed guns and bombs that rocked Mumbai) and now Azhar (who sold his country while representing her). Pathetic and desperate attempts by political party to ensure that no sane and honest person joins politics.
Desi Cartman Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 LULS .... Amar Singh also wanted him to join his party .. chors are always in demand
jf1gp_1 Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 when pholan devi could become an MP then whats wrong with azhar; uneducated indian voters and educated indians who dont vote deserve leaders like azhar
DomainK Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 when pholan devi could become an MP then whats wrong with azhar; uneducated indian voters and educated indians who dont vote deserve leaders like azhar TBH I dont see anything wrong in Phoolan Devi becoming an MP. She came from within the people and she knew the problems at the grassroot level. I would rather see Phoolan Devi run this country or a part of the administration than most other politicians. She was a criminal, but is acceptable. At least she was a woman who fought for herself against all odds. She knew what a common man goes through. But Azhar? Azhar's crime of match fixing is way more serious than Phoolan's crime of wiping out a village. Phoolan did it out of sheer helplessness. Azhar did it out of sheer greed. He has already misused the trust of us Indians. With what face will he come to ask for our votes?
cochise Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Azhar is taking a step into the master class of incompetence and corruption. He won't last long despite his credentials...remember one thing, despite his corruption at the top, he was still one of the most beautiful batsmen to watch and a great catcher i.e. he was good at the core skills of his proffession. He now joins a group that are good for nothing and an order of magnitude more corrupt, greedy, selfish, Machiavellian and downright nasty! p.s. Phoolan did it out of sheer helplessness. Agree. And they got her in the end didn't they? The Empire always strikes back.

DomainK Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 just answer this for me' date=' would you leave a child whom you are responsible for , with a REFORMED pedophile[/quote'] No, but I dont see how you are equating the two? A woman who committed murder in a total absence of law and order and a man who screwed children for fun....how do you think the two are the same?

A woman who committed murder in a total absence of law and order and a man who screwed children for fun....how do you think the two are the same?[/quote'] you were the one who thinks a man taking money to throw a game is a more hideous crime than someone killing another human being (lets not get into why the act was committed by either ,there were thousands who went through exactly what phoolan devi did yet they didnt pick weapons ) anyways this is not a cricketing discussion
Centrino Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 you were the one who thinks a man taking money to throw a game is a more hideous crime than someone killing another human being (lets not get into why the act was committed by either ' date=there were thousands who went through exactly what phoolan devi did yet they didnt pick weapons ) anyways this is not a cricketing discussion Yup they just kept getting tortured and waiting for the government to rescue them. On the topic there is nothing new, i think he meets the minimum criteria of age and number of crimes committed.
rahulrulezz Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 He is a shame for our country..should have been in a prison....i'll never forgive him....very sad that the main criterion for a MLA/MP Ticket is still 'popularlitiy'...
