Shehezaada
Tendulkar should play to keep the form going although I have a feeling he might sit this one out. If we lose, he'll come back for the 5th ODI. If we don't, he'll rest again. Link to comment
DomainK
We saw the trend in the Lanka series.....if the series is secured, Sachin prefers to sit out. We will need him in the test series. He can not only play, he can make others play as well(Yuvi against England, Lanka). He is a walking coaching institute. We need his services in tests so badly. Yes, if we manage to win the next ODI, he will paly the tests next. But if we lose the next one, Tendulkar will come to Punish the Kiwis again. Link to comment

mhr123
Tendulkar ruled out of fourth ODI Sachin Tendulkar was ruled out of the fourth One-Day International against New Zealan to be played in Hamilton on Wednesday after failing to recover from his abdomen injury suffered during the third match. Tendulkar, who retired hurt after belting a stunning 163 in the third ODI, underwent an MRI scan at a local hospital in Christchurch on Monday. India have taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the five-match series in which the second ODI was abandoned due to rain. The 36-year-old batsman had been among the runs in all the three ODIs played so far, bettering his 20 at Napier with a 61 in the rained-out match at Wellington. Interestingly, while Tendulkar and team doctor Nitin Patel were at the hospital, the rest of the team had a day out in the hills adjoining Christchurch. They went for a mountain drive, rollicking up an down the bumpy slopes in six-wheeled vehicles. Later, they had a swell time, speed jetting at the Waima waters. Having earned a good outing for outstanding shows on the field, the team moves to Hamilton on Tuesday. :(( :(( Link to comment

Let's wait for cricinfo or BBC or something Link to comment

Desi Cartman
I would pick Rohit over karthik any day ... At least Rohit can build an innings and hold an end but KKD will come in and get out .. he is good for nothing Link to comment
flamy
Damknit, Kohli would have been perfect! Link to comment

Pick IKP instead of Nohit, and Pragyan Ojha instead of Munaf Patel. That way we get an extra bowler (ojha) and a weak batsman (IKP) but he is no worse than Nohit or KKD. For all those saying KKD is in "form", he usually scores in domestics, but will scratch around in Intl matches Without a good backup batsman like Virat or Uthappam - this will have to be a weak team we field :( Link to comment

Sehwag 2. Gambhir 3. Raina 4. Yuvraj 5. Dhoni 6. Yusuf Pathan 7. Irfan Pathan ( can bat better, instead of Nohit/KKD, and also 3rd seamer) 8. Harbhajan Singh 9. Zaheer Khan 10. Praveen Kumar 11. Pragyan Ojha (instead of MP) Link to comment
Shehezaada
I'm still hopeful for Tendulkar for tomorrow's ODI or possibly the 5th one. He has to keep his form going if he's feeling good. Link to comment

Anakin
I'm glad SRT is missing out, he should take care of himself first I'll go with IKP in place of Rohit or KKD, and Ojha in place of Munna Oh I just noticed, it seems someone else also wants the same team, that's not a good sign :P Link to comment
