fineleg Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 It is difficult to generalize, but generalization seems to be the norm in this thread anyway, so let me add - South Indians speak better English than North Indians for the most part.
nikred Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I'm an INDIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But topic is about North or South Indians not impure West Indians.:P
ludhianvi Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I think them chipmunks are better [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_x9KQpWbSw]YouTube - Nagada Nagada Alvin and the Chipmunks style![/ame] Perhaps, a different route would be to discuss the pros cons of job market, facilities, lifestyle of different regions so as not to stereotype.
suraj Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 It is difficult to generalize, but generalization seems to be the norm in this thread anyway, so let me add - South Indians speak better English than North Indians for the most part. Huh??? where did this come from??
Ram Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 It is difficult to generalize, but generalization seems to be the norm in this thread anyway, so let me add - South Indians speak better English than North Indians for the most part. You're simply wrong.
Dark Warrior Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 But topic is about North or South Indians not impure West Indians.:P i know but kya kare......... dil hai ke maanta nahi :--D
vroomfondel Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I honestly cannot believe that a group of educated youth and middle-aged persons have the chutzpah to generalise in this manner. North Indians tend to use their left index to pick their nose, and South Indians use their right index. And, that is the only difference ^ I like this guy :)
Holysmoke Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 South Indians speak better English than North Indians for the most part. :phoeey:
Kohum Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 But topic is about North or South Indians not impure West Indians.:P Correct. Those impure West Indians - can't even make one test match interesting. :P @ OP : I don't care. I can live any of the two places and still be happy.
varun Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I honestly cannot believe that a group of educated youth and middle-aged persons have the chutzpah to generalise in this manner. North Indians tend to use their left index to pick their nose, and South Indians use their right index. And, that is the only difference My Generalization Radar says your indignant attitude at the chutzpah of the ppl here makes u either a Bengali or a South Indian B-> j/k :icflove:
ludhianvi Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Not a hair on the female leg in either of these communities though, and certainly no moustache. Doc,Stop looking at places you're not suppose to :whack:
hassan_113 Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 Excellent responses... Don't wana offend people- but the people in the south move their heads a lot more when speaking compared to the north!
nikred Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Excellent responses... Don't wana offend people- but the people in the south move their heads a lot more when speaking compared to the north! I am offended, buddeh!!!! :protest:
flamy Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Actually' date=' I think people are sharper in the south.[/quote'] I actually think the opposite. I had a couple of Bihari friends who were damn churuku (I cant say it in English, the Telugu word is perfect, nice onomatoepia). IIRC, lots of IITians are Bihari too. the aunties r better in north... TOTALLY AGREE. Actually, most Northie Women (and by North, I mean in a South Indian way :--D), are HAWT. Although, Mangalore is an exception, a huge exception :agree: I don’t know why most B’lore guys feel the need to act Uber cool. Its like everytime they speak with you, they start with the unspoken sentence ‘Oh, you know I am much cooler than you’. :D :finger::finger::finger::finger::finger::finger::finger::finger::finger: We are just cool. We don't "act" :P
Desi Cartman Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 North East :isalute: Least complaining and least demanding even though its the most ignored part of the country
