Anakin Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 This guy should have bowled, batted and fielded more for NZ in all matches (Tests and ODIs). Seems to be a brilliant find for NZ. Good batting and catching there mate.
Show_stopper Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I have been saying it for ages now..his driving technique is faulty. You only have to look at % of his dismissals where he gets out caught behind the wicket.
pan_walla Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 My chachu says that Yuvraj's brain is located in his knee as a result he is good for dishum dishum cricket but not for test.
Holysmoke Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 My chachu says that Yuvraj's brain is located in his knee as a result he is good for dishum dishum cricket but not for test. Are you my neighbourhood Paanwaala?? http://www.paan.com
cochise Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I stand by Yuvi, my man...the most talented cricketer ever born...and not yet realised.
fineleg Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I stand by Yuvi' date=' my man...the most talented cricketer ever born...and not yet realised.[/quote'] For ODIs and T20 - Yes. For Test matches - very iffy player he is.
DomainK Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 The only decent test innings he played was in the company of Sachin Tendulkar. There too Tendulkar had to keep talking to him again and again stopping him from playing some dumb shot. This guy has to take test cricket seriously. Otherwise kick him out. He is a major reason we are about to lose this match.
cochise Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 For Test matches - very iffy player he is. Slow to mature...in a few more years, he will be devastating in tests.

He is a major reason we are about to lose this match. You my friend are wrong. He has scored 3 hundreds Vs Pak, 2 of them coming at extremely bad team score and difficult situations. As to the reason why we are about to lose this match, if you are talking about dropped catches, then he is not a slip fielder, so you cannot put all the blame on him.
pan_walla Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Are you my neighbourhood Paanwaala?? http://www.paan.com Muchhad uncle is our family friend.
rahulrulezz Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Yeh lo fir se... just before this Test, people were going GaGa over him ..1 flop innings and now its KaKa... when player like Dravid fail for over 2 years, ppl will call him a legend and forgive everything but if its Yuvi, then he is Marjanya, Khasma Nu Khanya... Yuvraj is genuine matchwinner in all the 3 formats just like Sehwag and should be given one straight year in Test Matches...
DomainK Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I hope he plays with a cool head in the second innings. We just cant afford to lose this one.
