vipin Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 On IPL2 form Sehwag Sachin raina Yuvraj Karthik Yusuf P Irfan P Bhajj RP Singh Ishant Ojha ___________ Extras: Zaheer Khan Praveen Kumar Rohit Sharma Abhisek Nayar Rahul Dravid
vipin Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 That means Gambhir and Dhoni have been passengers right since the two T20s before the new zealand series.
vipin Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Emerging talents (but not quite there yet): Virat Kohli Badrinath Sudeep Tyagi Sreevats Goswami Ravindra Jadeja Out of the blue finds of IPL2: Abhishek Raut T Suman Kamran Khan Old Hands that shone: God Rahul Dravid Anil Kumble Balaji Biggest flops of IPL2 Gambhir Dhoni Sehwag Robin Uthappa (before today's innings) Virat Kohli Zaheer Khan ? amits Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 i would go with this team - sehwag gambhir tendulkar raina yuvraj yusuf pathan dhoni(w) irfan pathan harbhajan pravin kumar rp singh reserves: jadeja dinesh kartik extra batsman - nayar/dhawan/anyone else who impresses extra bowler - kamran khan/munaf/atul sharma/anyone else who impresses zaheer & ishant need to be rested
amits Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 That means Gambhir and Dhoni have been passengers right since the two T20s before the new zealand series. :hysterical: gambhir played a crucial role in india winning the test matches. and the test matches took place after the 20/20. also he was decent enough in odis as well
gaurav92 Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 :hysterical: gambhir played a crucial role in india winning the test matches. and the test matches took place after the 20/20. also he was decent enough in odis as well u and your DELHI players............errrrrrr u r biased on all Delhi players............its not a good thing to compare 20 20 with test cricket i would say gambhir has done very well in the recent years and has enough confidence to play for India in the T20 world cup....not just your fake vague reason  amits.........oops sorry ........@MiT$
gaurav92 Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 my probable XI after the first leg of IPL season 2 would be Sehwag GOD :adore: Dravid Raina Rohit Dhoni Yusuf Harbhajan RP Singh Praveen Kumar Zak/Iahant
gaurav92 Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 yes u ve read it rite....no YUVRAJ Reserves Dinesh Karthik.......as another wkt keeper Gambhir Virat Kohli Zak Ishant who ever doesnt play Sreesanth Ojha
cowboysfan Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 yes u ve read it rite....no YUVRAJ Reserves Dinesh Karthik.......as another wkt keeper Gambhir Virat Kohli Zak Ishant who ever doesnt play Sreesanth Ojha another MASSIVE :fail:
gaurav92 Posted May 5, 2009 Author Posted May 5, 2009 another MASSIVE :fail: hey did u think that thats serious omg i was just kidding otherwise i ll have rohit and raina istead of yuvi.... never hey my XI would definitely be sehwag sachin gautam yuvraj raina dhoni yusuf bhajji pkumar zak rp/ishant
vvvslaxman Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Playing XI should be Gambhir Sehwag Raina Yuvraj Rohit Dhoni Yusuf Irfan Harbhajan RP Singh Zak Ishant despite IPL success is a huge noball candidate. He bowls noballs at the most inopportune times. Secondly RP and Zak are genuine swing bowlers which will be helpful . If they want one more bowler they can go for Ishant and rest one of the batsman.
gaurav92 Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 ^^^^ good team it looks a strong and a balanced team...nice selection mate
Lord Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 i would have wanted PK n RPS to share the new ball but now atleast one of them willl sit out as Ishant plunders runs anyway heres my XI( in Batting order) Sehwag Gauti Dhoni Yuvraj Raina Yusuf Irfan Bhajji Praveen Zaheer RP
cowboysfan Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 i would have wanted PK n RPS to share the new ball but now atleast one of them willl sit out as Ishant plunders runs anyway heres my XI( in Batting order) Sehwag Gauti Dhoni Yuvraj Raina Yusuf Irfan Bhajji Praveen Zaheer RP looks good but it all depends on how Irfan bowls in england.I can see him being replaced by Rohit if he doesnt perform in earlier matches.
Lord Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 looks good but it all depends on how Irfan bowls in england.I can see him being replaced by Rohit if he doesnt perform in earlier matches. nah one allrounder is a must.with all the swing around, irfan should do well.as for Rohit, he can only play at 3 or 4 n both places are taken.n anyway there is no point playing 7 specialist batsmen in T20

diegovegaz Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 gambhir sehwag raina yuvraj dhoni rohit yusuf irfan bhajji pk rpsingh this is, by far, the best combination possible ojha would be unlucky to miss out
