DomainK Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 We are talking about Nazar Mohammad, father of Mudassar Nazar.....the first ever Pakistani batsman to score a century against India. He played 5 matches and scored 277 runs at an average of little below 50. He was an opening batsman. Do you know why his career prematurely ended? Because of his love story. Nazar was in love with Pakistan's famous singer and actress Noor Jehan. The duo had a rocking affair and the problem was that Noor was married already. Noor's husband was aware of what was cooking on his back but could never catch them red handed. Noor and Nazar used to meet at friends' places for spending time with each other and romancing. One day Noor's husband got wind of such a meeting and while the couple were in bed, he stormed into the room with a shotgun in his hand:D . Nazar got scared that he left whatever he was doing (u can guess what:D) and jumped out of the first floor window. He broke his right arm and was caught by Noor's husband's assistants. Nazar could never recover from that accident enough to play cricket again. What a sad love story of a cricketer.
