What a amazing play by Afridi. He not only bowled good (which he is getting better at) but for the first time I have seen him play sensibly. One more roar from his side and Pak will the be reigning champions. Slow starters or not this team has picked up momentum at the very right time and Afridi is fulfilling the expectations that Pakistan demands from his side. Pakistan have made it to the finals consecutively and it says something about their side. RSA are chokers and there is no denying. For all the talk about they are shedding the chokers tag is bullocks and they need to start performing in a crunch games where their skills and pressure handling is tested. They are a complete fail side when it comes to semis

Amazing performance by Pakistan.. Even I didnt rate them that much before the tournament but Boy they proved me wrong... Amazing bowling by Umar Gul and new kiddo M. Aamir.... Yorkers after Yorkers around 145km/hr... Amazing spell of pace bowling... combine that with the efforts of Ajmal and Afridi... It seems like they are here to win ..Will bring great joy to their country in the bad times....Best of luck Pakistan!! Hope you guys win the tournament !!

Lankans will have an upper hand against Pakistan but it won't be a prudent move to write off Pakistan based on their previous performances against the Lankan side. I am 80% certain SL will make the finals but the other 20% depends on Gayle fares for Windies. A quick start is a must for Windies as M & M will dry the runs during the middle spell.

It's going to take something special from SL or WI to stop Pakistan now. Murali and Mendis have not really troubled the Pakistan middle order all that much to be called trump cards in their head to head encounter. It would come down to Jayasuriya or Dilshan playing a special knock to win against Pakistan. For my money, Pakistan are favorites now and truth be told I would grudgingly tip my hat off if they pull it off given the events of the past year in the country.

the only way to counter pakistan is .. gather as many runs in 1st six overs as you can.. ajmal, afridi, gul.. wont give that much.. DILSHAN is the only one in those other two who can counter these three bowlers.. ... the guy is a BRILLIANT improviser.. and one of the most under-rated..

Excellent team chemistry ! No question ! Couple of games and they have changed completely. Finally Afretard comes good -- i think it is his bowling tho ! much more than his batting that won the game and they are certainly going to win it all !
