Cricketics Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 they award points in ranjo on basis of 1st innings lead' date='tjat should settle it tics[/quote'] Result always on criicnfo is written as "draw" and just 5 points awarded to the team which has got the lead. Hence I was asking. Since this is set up through Cricinfo, so team which gets the lead won't really show as winners in this contest on ICF

SSJ4Kakashi Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 MWAHAHAHAHA!I'm on top of Ranji SS...for now
Online Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Varun: First off fantastic job with the SS, I really do love it :icflove: Suggestion: The parStrikeRate being fixed to a specific value feels very rigid. Right now it is tied to 0.83 for ODIs which implies that the average score per innings in an ODI is ~249. However of late that seems more like a minimum score in ODIs. Instead, how about we make it a bit more dynamic.... The idea is that you replace the parStrikeRate with the current run rate of the innings or the required run rate if it is the second innings. Thanks again for your efforts, if you think it is perfect the way it is and don't want to over complicate things, that is understandable. Cheers!
gaurav92 Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Why is the score doubled for some players and not doubled for some :dontknow:, and why is it doubled BTW
