Watson87 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Agarkar is a legend. He sure is. He makes some of the opposition unknown batsman legends like him by giving them full tosses :haha: Give Nehra a break guys, look at Lee he was hammered for 27 runs by Gayle, Nehra is bowling to the most fierce batsman known to mankind after Sehwag
Bharat12 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 He seemed desperate to impress especially with the dramatic dives on the boundary rope, I've never been convinced by his bowling and that hasn't changed so far. Hope he'll come good but that's just hope rather than expectation - better to stick with talented youngsters like Ishant Sharma and Praveen Kumar in my opinion.
saneindian Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I wonder why they aren't giving a chance to Ajit Agarkar? He is only 30-31, same age as nehra, has been among the three most successful ODI bowlers India has produced, fields better than all these jacks, doesnt abuse his fellow team mates ala nehra, doesnt have any antics ala sreesanth. Its time to call the legend back to the Indian team again. Lets not go back to the Munafs and Sreesanths before giving Agarkar a rerun in indian team. P.S. Having said that, I believe Nehra has it in him to produce the goods for India again. Hoping to see him at his best in the 3rd ODI.
The Outsider Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I wonder why they aren't giving a chance to Ajit Agarkar? . You sure about your choice of a nick?
Guest Hiten. Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 A Nehra 3* 3 16.1 2 106 6 3/21 17.66 6.55 16.1 0 0 1 Terrific bowling in absence of our strike bowler, ZAK. Not a bat outing at all for Nehra considering the fact that he is coming back off an injury. You still think he is crap ? Come again!

Watson87 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 What do you guys think of Ashish Nehra now? He has been the outstanding bowler this tour, it's difficult to bowl in the flat pitches to Gayle and Morton yet he is delivering whereas our overrated youngster Sharma is getting thrashed. Give Nehra some more time, he is back and will perform again in the next match.
Texy Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 this thread title should be changed to "Ishant Sharma is now crap" .......... Nehra bowled brilliantly in this series and has bowled better than PK, IS, RP
Riley's Girl Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 this thread title should be changed to "Ishant Sharma is now crap" .......... Nehra bowled brilliantly in this series and has bowled better than PK' date=' IS, RP[/quote'] You can say that again

This might be a longest thread in history of ICF... :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: indian bowling was always an average bowling unit and will be..

The way some of the youngsters are bowling, pretty soon it's going to be below average:omg:
Texy Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 BCCI needs to get rid of Prasad as the bowling coach and get someone new.... snatch Alan Donald from England dammit
hari504504 Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Once showsanth makes his comeback its only a matter of time before lambu gets dropped/rested
