Dude Katra is the base of hill of Vaishno Devi...i.e. the place where buses/cars end and you either walk about 14 km uphill or ride a horse or do the helicopter thingie...I dunno how much it is for helicopter but I do know it is pretty common now a days edit: return flight is less than 3000 rupees.
