Sooda
Does anybody use them? Im just wondering whether the satisfaction you get is similar to actually reading...? This is fiction books btw, Im looking to d/l off Amazon
Sooda
Also do they just read it like the book, word for word...?
coffee_rules
I listen to them on daily commute. It's a perfect solution who don't have time otherwise during the day, but still don't feel the guilt of wasting time. It doesn't beat reading the book. Sooda
^Cheers for that c_r. Didnt think it would beat actual reading. Ive got a whole stash of books ive bought but not read. Having some on player makes it easier- as you say when travelling etc.
flamy
It's a decent proxy, but reading (on paper!!) is something totally different. But, I'm a cheapie and I hate ebooks, so they are good company for a commute or any place where I have to wait. *Listening to Sophie's World now. Awesome stuff.*
DomainK
I don't like audio books. They kill the thrill of reading.
