Sooda Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Here in the UK, Russel Howard, Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Omid Djalili is quality. Rhod Gilbert. Theres a show called Mock The Week which comes on BBC here which is ace. Some good comics on there.
punjabi_khota Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Wtf, no Russell Peters ? Somebody is gonna hurt real bad!! Russell is the best, no one comes close.
Sachinism Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 ^^ Russell had that one awesome stand up and he's been living on that for a long time after. His Red, White & Brown show was pretty average.
coffee_rules Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I hate cuss words and don't like mock humor either. So, that rules out pretty much everybody else. I like the older crowd Seinfeld, Ellen (best among women) and most of the SNL crowd. Most of ethnic humor is so much done over. It's usually mocking their immigrant parents or uncles. If I listen to one more joke about their dad/mom mocking their difference in culture/generation gap, I will throw up. Dana Carvey is probably the best. I also like Lewis Black (on CC). http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/root_of_all_evil/index.jhtml

His Red' date=' White & Brown show was pretty average.[/quote'] Whatchu talking abt dude. He has a lot of variety and there is NO other comedian who covers so many ethnicities so accurately as he does. He killed the show he did for a black audience, it was so ****ing awesome.
Dark Warrior Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 One and only, Russell Peters, no doubt about that!!
Dirty_South Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 R Peters,Dave Chappelle,George Lopez,Jimmy Carr,Jeff Dunham,Chris Rock Hindi - Raju Srivatsav.
punjabi_khota Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 The best ones over the years in Indian Laughter Challenge have been: 1). Kapil Sharma 2). Kuldeep Dubey 3). Raju Srivastav Kapil Sharma was phenomenal in the year when he won, and it was a miracle that he beat out Kuldeep Dubey's "Aish-Abhi" wedding act

coffee_rules Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 The worst things about ILC are the hosts - Sidhu and Suman were laughing into the mic to make the jokes sound funnier. Also, the sound effects get very irritating. It will be funnier if they did it without telling us when it is funny and we are supposed to laugh. Now, it's just a irritating mess.

Good part is his jokes are always clean. The only stand-up comedian I could recommend my sister to watch. :((
nikred Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Late George Carlin is God of atheism comedy.... That guy makes total mockery of the theists. :giggle:
Sachinism Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 If you don't mind politically uncorrect material, you have to check out Jim Jefferies. Funny dude
