Many great tournament victories have been built upon spells of good fortune - nothing wrong with aspiring for one. FFS, Pakistan's '92 WC would not have been possible but for rain preventing England from chasing 74 runs - that's right 74 runs in 50 overs.

Let me correct that misconception Pakistan LOSE = We're out; Pakistan WIN = We're out, well ... , if they limp home on one arm and one leg. For us to progress, they need to win and win by a big enough margin. Now, at this stage, will you start "praying" for them ? hoping that they win by that margin ? Or are you content to simply watch out the proceedings, and accept the result either way ? Even though we're on the verge of knocked out, I simply cannot imagine Indians, put aside 60+ years of animosity and suddenly start showering the Pak team with prayers and well wishes. :finger: :finger: I too want India to progress through to semi' but if that comes at the cost of "praying" for an emphatic Pakistani victory (i.e. win by the required margin), than phuck it, I am happy for us to go home.
I am not in this praying shraying business. I have never prayed for an Indian victory either dude. Infact last time I prayed was when I trying to get laid. :prankster2: I am just hoping things work out in India's favor and if pak has to win against OZ for that to happen, so be it.

I dont pray for such trivial things... I dont want to run out of my gift quota :tounge_smile: Indian fans dont need to beg for Pakistan to beat India, they can just hope for an Australian defeat . If it happens, it happens, no big deal.

very well said. It's the same with me when I have to depend on another team for Pakistan to go through to another round, be it India or Australia it doesn't matter. Some people just take this too seriously when they bring up stuff like this that they would never pray for Pakistan's win or India's win. It should be whatever gives your team a chance to win. I'm pretty sure Indian fans wouldn't regret it if Pakistan wins and somehow India goes through and wins the whole thing.

LOL these pakis are talking as if they own the Aussies and have beaten them everytime they have played them! And all this bravado for what, all they have done so far is win a game against us. Thats it!! All I can tell them is, yes our team is nearly out of the CT, but remember poys, the Pak team will lose to Australia and play their semis against Eng at Jo'burg. And then all we are gonna hear is BCCI conspiracy of a seaming pitch at Jo'burg with Jimmy and Onions frying the Pakistanis out on a 'devillish' pitch.

It's safe to conclude that half of ICF is moronic - who would rather their team gets relegated than Pakistan win and we enter the knock out stage.
Eh, come again ? Let's not get ahead of ourselves there We are hanging on by the skin of our teeth. I am not harbouring hopes of any miracles, well not yet anyway :winky:

I will pray for half of pak team tested positive in drug test and they will also charged for ball tempring resulting into banning pak team for 4 years. This will end up with ind and aus to qualify for semis.

:sniffle: Y iz my name being aboozed .. I only said that I will accept whatever the match results are and wont support any team .. it is just that if India benefits from the result it will be better but I wont support any of the two teams :wink:
