King Tendulkar Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 He must be included in all indian teams now that he is back and fit. He bowls with pace, heart and with skill. In fact I love the guy, he is a real character and fantastic entertainment (although many people use the fact he has a personality against him). Compared to the others apart from ZK he is a shining light. As he always runs in and gives 100% trying to bowl with pace and real heart. He also bowls with great skill, with great seam positions making the ball talk. Has had some great performances for India particularly in SA, were frankly speaking he was sensational. Now he is delivering again after a county stint and doing well now in Irani trophy. Its time for people to put aside their personal dislikes of Srees wacky personality(although personally I love his luancy) and focus on his good bowling abilty. He must be picked!! I am sure he would have done very well on the SA tracks we are now leaving, real shame he did not play as am sure would have done better then current bunch. Come on chaps ZK/Gambhir had a spell away from indian team and then were recalled and came back stronger and better. The time now applies for my man SREE!! I DEMAND HIS RECALL AND BACKING!
Lord Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Sreesanth aggression is fake n all drama.he'll run in n try to bowl fast, glare the batsman.but the moment a quality batsman attacks him,he loses it n starts delivering pies.everyone came to know how weak hearted he really is wen he starting crying on the ground after getting slapped by bhajji
Temujin Khaghan Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 itseems he has not done any of his past antics in the match against mumbai so far. he should be picked as the second seamer after nehra for the series against the aussies.
Lord Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 itseems he has not done any of his past antics in the match against mumbai so far. he should be picked as the second seamer after nehra for the series against the aussies. thats because not too many people r watching it.he will back to his irritating best if picked against Oz
Temujin Khaghan Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 thats because not too many people r watching it.he will back to his irritating best if picked against Oz its more irritating to repeatedly see ishanth's bowling figures show an economy rate of 6+ and rp not able to complete his full quota...
Sachinism Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Sreesanth aggression is fake n all drama.he'll run in n try to bowl fast' date='glare the batsman.but the moment a quality batsman attacks him,he loses it n starts delivering pies.[b']everyone came to know how weak hearted he really is wen he starting crying on the ground after getting slapped by bhajji I think thats unfair. I think he was crying more out of shock than being weak
saneindian Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 he is bowling well, seems to have lost a bit of speed but even if he bowls at 82-83 moh with some control, I am all for him. I am sure even MSD will now want to have someone like him in the team after watching Ishant and RP being taken apart. As for Sree's antics, well thts more of a people management problem and the coach will be able to handle that. Remember the last time Sreesanth played for India ( in the test series against SA in 2008), Kirsten had just taken over. Once Sree interacts with the coach regulalrly, all that positive( fake if you like it) energy can be channelised in proper direction.
Lord Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I think thats unfair. I think he was crying more out of shock than being weak So out of shock u cry like a baby in front of whole crowd n cameras.no sane self respecting man would do that.he is an attention seeker of highest degree or is just weak.i think hes weak. that being said, hes highly talented n i would love to see him in test side
DomainK Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I think thats unfair. I think he was crying more out of shock than being weak I think he was just being an attention seeking baby. He has a weakness for the theatrical show off. That's what he was at.
champ Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 ozzies will make serious fun of him regarding that slap and cry incident. but he can picked for this series .. hope he keeps his head in place..

Who cares about antics??? Thats is my point. Why is everyone so concerned about these so called antics. He should be judged on performances. Not on so called preconcieved ideas on behaviour etc. Let the match referees worry about that and we worry about picking people who perform. p.s I doubt even think he does that much wrong in terms of antics/off field behaviour

cowboysfan Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 at this point we are scraping at the bottom of the barell.sree can be a little expensive but he is also more likely to get you the early breakthrough.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 so what if sreesanth tries to be john mcenroe of indan cricket.. some ppl need some motivation to perform. let cheap publicity be his motivation. and if it helps him deliver the goods, i'm fine with it.. bring on the "kerala killer".. ooops that sounds like the padosi beasts...
Params7 Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 We should bring back Sree, Aggy, Irfan with Nehra and go with 4 seamers for a change in a ODI. Like NZ now. Aggy and Irfan can also bat.
rahulrulezz Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I will rather play Kohli as my opening pace bowler than this stupid Chimp!!
yoda Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 He is a must in tests, not sure about ODIs as he tends to be erratic and leak runs all over the place. T-20s may be, as he can pick up a wicket or two and doesn't have that many overs to give up too many runs.

If Sreesanth can atleast be in the top 10 Test/odi bowler rankings, i dont think anyone will have a ****ing problem.
Guest Hiten. Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I will rather play Kohli as my opening pace bowler than this stupid Chimp!! That certainly shows how much of a cricket do you know. Thank god you are not the selector of our team.
