it loses credibility coming from prabhakar but i have known this for a while now.we need a coach who can teach our fast bowlers to bowl better in odis and i dont think prasad is right for the job.everyone of our medium pacers have remarkably fallen off the wagon(the only common factor is prasad) and the only one who is bowling well is nehra who is so far not influenced by prasad.

Prasad is good only for his fake accents. Have you seen his interviews. He would concentrate on putting an accent so much he would not know what the heck he is talking about. India should hire someone like Allan Donald. They can also keep Dennis Lillee as expert consultant.

show me one fast bowler who has got better under his tutelage- 1)Ishant-lost pace and changed his action.he is so far gone from the player that bowled so wel against the aussies at home that i am frankly worried about his bowling in the upcoming tests against lanka 2)RP-no comment 3)PK-a bowler who used to bowl in the mid 130s can barely get it upto 130 nowadays. none of them bowl well in powerplays,none of them can bowl a bouncer well,none can bowl a yorker.they all have poorly disguised slower ball.what has prasad thought them in 2 years?

I dont mind Jonty as the fielding coach too though Robin Singh also has the passion and is not bad

I agree. Robin Singh is another passive coach. He was a decent fielder. I don't think ability of our fielders have attained any consistency. He should drill these guys so much that catching should become a second nature.

Prasad ko bahar nikalo. Because of his past, BCCI would never make Prabhakar full time bowling coach. Rope in Bruce Reid. He worked wonders with our bowlers in his first stint in 03/04 when we toured Oz under Ganguly. The only issue would be if he is willing to do tours. Prabhakar would still be the best bet among desis.
