theguyinallblue Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Pakistan starts it's own IIT Following India's lead of setting up IITs at a torrid pace, Pakistan has decided to start it's own IITs - The Islamic Institute of Technology. President Musharraf inaugurated the first IIT in Islamabad by detonating a bomb inside the institute premises. Later, at a press conference, he said, "Islam and technology go hand in hand. Islamic nations, such as Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have strapped great technological achievements under their belt. The entire world has witnessed the explosion of Pakistani and Afghani Islamic technologies. I am confident that IIT Islamabad with take Islamic technological progress to the next level." IIT Islamabad has three department - Aeronautics, Mechanical and Chemical. The Aeronautics department specializes in placing bombs in Airplanes, hijacking airplanes and crashing airplanes into tall buildings. Mechanical department specializes in car bombs and cycle bombs. Chemical department, the most intensive, involves building bombs using household chemicals. Admission to IIT Islamabad is extremely competitive. Prospective candidates have to take the JEE-HAD (Joint Entrance Exam - Higher Academic Destruction) examination. Only the top 2% of the candidates qualify for admission. Shakeel Ahmed Bhat, a young, enterprising boy from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, aced the exam. When informed about his achievement, he yelled, "death to Hindus, Jews and America. Death to all non-Wahabis. Allah-o-Akbar." Then he went into a trance-like state. Credit to the original write...

IIT is to far a thing for them to understand or believe. Everything other than working of bombs and machine guns will be over their heads.
