akshayxyz Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Reviving an old thread as it is related to the news I am posting. 3 Idiots was finally released in China a couple of weeks ago and is a hit there too collection 11 crores in just two weeks which is great for a foreign film and especially Indian. As most people already know, China screens foreign films and only allows 20 movies a year and so, it took a long time to enter the Chinese market. With this, 3 Idiots has now also broken the all time overseas box office record for any Bollywood film till date. ravishingravi Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Well I understood the appeal of this movie while on a plane. They were showing "Judaai" and "3 idiots". Considering my love for Paresh Rawal, I chose the former. Every fifteen minutes I could hear unanimous laughter, the biggest one coming during the speech scene. This 2 years after its release.
