Cricketics
Loving the uneven bounce at Kotla Classic. I am liking it. They wanted to do this before champions league, but neverthe less. Kotla wicket looks interesting. It produces some interesting game anywayz, and now with this newly laid track, I think things woiuld get more interesting. Link to comment
Shane
Bounce? Or the lack of it? Couple of them skidded below the knee to MSD, looks like another substandard pitch. Link to comment
Cricketics
Naa. Some areas look pretty good.. It skits through. Some areas however i would say need to be improved as you mentioned. Overall this track can become one of the better tracks if they work more on it. Link to comment
spectre
Is it meant to be a sarcastic thread :dontknow: a 140ish delivery hits on good length and climbs up half a feet love the bounce :giggle: Link to comment
urbestfriend
Not watching the match, but from cricinfo this pitch seems terribly substandard with some balls keeping low and some with steep bounce. Looks like Kota curator needs a crash course on how to make a sporting pitch . Link to comment
graphic23
Wow. You guys are being really harsh. A little bit of help for the seamers in the first innings, and all are after the curator. You deserve the flat pattas you're getting. Good job calling that "cricket" Link to comment
Shane
@ G, Bounce = Good, Uneven Bounce = Bad! Link to comment
Sachin_Rulez
Just because someone's from delhi, doesn't mean that one has to defend that stupid pitch. Kotla pitch has been nothing but embarrassment to India right from champions league. Link to comment
graphic23
Sorry Shane I dont agree. All this pitch is contributing towards is that the batsmen have to work to get the runs, and you cannot reach 70 in 5 overs. The pitch has uneven bounce, and so the batsmen with the right technique will survive - and the ones who are good at hitting through the line or like having nice even bounce without any movement will struggle. I think if the conditions remain similar, even our batsmen will have a few problems - unless Sehwag gets going. Its a good pitch for the bowlers, and finally, there's a game thats worth watching for a decent contest. Link to comment
ludhianvi
There is too much uneven bounce... we used to get this much on our park pitch at times. One flies over and at times it rolls over. The pitch is patchy , some areas have grass while some dont check it out: Link to comment
Rajiv
..'tics, cmon yaar - this is a real bad one and look whats happening now Link to comment
Nova
Not looking good :(( This is a newly laid pitch and clearly under prepared. Match likely to be called off. Bad pitch. Too much uneven bounce. Link to comment
Cricketics
This is bit over reaction. I have seen worse pitch then these. So much uneven bounce in a test match etc on day 1 too. Link to comment

Would love to see a good cricketing pitch, where there is an even contest between bat and ball without the balance being disturbed. I would say this is as bad a pitch as the 414 game, only this one is in favour of the bowlers. Link to comment

sm332
DDCA - quite easily the most incompetent state association going around although my homestate Rajasthan is not much better. Pretty piss poor performance from the DDCA, curators, etc - you have 35-40K people packed in and they get this tripe. Cant blame the players - I think they waited for as long as they could to see if it will even out. Link to comment
