Shane Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 53 & 59 ++ Wasn't that supposed to be a home series :hehe:
satishg Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 what is this? since Pakistan has drawn/won a test against Oz!
kabira Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 oh, in that case, I am sorry If you ask me to pick up my favorite baby/kid its not possible. I can't pick my favorite out of them. I like them equally.

Chalks Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Nah, Hobart 99 is the best, because that's the only one they had even a remote chance of winning - until it was snatched away from them by Langer and Gilchrist. :--D
Macj Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Yeah I think Hobart was the best, mostly because the defeat was heartbreaking for them. You got to love the feeling when they're down and out, kicked to the curb!
Sooda Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 ^ I remember watching Hobart 99 and there were at least two or three umpiring howlers that went Australias way in that match- as we know well that happens a good amount down under. Pak should have won that match.

On another note talking about howlers, when Prabhakar was given out LBW to McDermott I almost threw my radio out the window,even the commies said it was a very bad decision (Radio commies down under were infinitely less biased than TV ones) . That was one match we were close to winning. http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63566.html

That was one match we were close to winning. http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/63566.html It was a very bad tour overall for India, but this test was the most exciting since we came oh so close. Even the Aussies echoed the umpiring sentiment with the banner "My eyes weren't good enough for batting, so I became an umpire" I listened to the radio commentary of the last hour or so of this Adelaide game in school...the last few benches looked devastated on that day. Back on topic... 53 & 59 - that's consistency for you. This team always got starts, but couldn't convert it :winky:
kabira Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 ^oh I remember it very welll. Superb Knock by Azhar. Durng the commentary Sunny said Aussies playing with 13 players against 11 inidans. I remember David Boon getting 2-3 lives from umpire everytime.
