Just imagine what would have happened if such a thing had happened and 300 people had been killed over US soil... That would have been the dream-break the conservatives have been waiting for with bated breath, to have a go at Obama. They would not have lost a second in pointing out how Obama's policies have weakened America's national security and strengthened the terrorists..

That is true, but in the case of Fox, it just doesnt feel the 'same'. They recently even auditioned Carrie Prejean for a day in the hope that they can get her on board, but the Prejean 'sex tape' happened and that was the end of that.
