Temujin Khaghan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 What have others proved' date=' let Kohli and others get tested against hostile bowling(Flintoff) in helpful bowling conditions and then we can talk.[/quote'] actually karthik played well in england and rohit did well in australia. regarding kohli, yeah u are right he will be tested against the saffers.
Show_stopper Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 a regarding kohli, yeah u are right he will be tested against the saffers. Don't think he will get a game.
Temujin Khaghan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 LOL..they said the same thing against one of the most successful ODI player this country has ever seen. lol... and u just compared sachin with raina. i mean just like that. i dont know if any paki idiot said that about sachin, which is quite stupid considering how adept sachin is at playing a pull and the now-extinct hook shot too.

Duh..iwas speaking about Ganguly
Temujin Khaghan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Duh..iwas speaking about Ganguly *cough cough* sorry yaar.
Dravid Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 raina better slogger then virat.. and since a lower order position is what they are fighting for, it will and def. should go to raina..
Show_stopper Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 100% sure Kohli is NOT going to play ahead of Raina. I don't care what they will target him with..Raina is more than capable of doing well. And its not like Kohli has better technique or something. Like someone said earlier on..he has yet to score over 20 runs against a competant attack. There is a big concern about his tendency to play across the line too often..mainly because of his trigger movement. looked totally out of depth while facing 90 mph bowlers like Johnson,Bollinger.
Temujin Khaghan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 if it comes down to kohli vs raina it must be raina... simply because raina can hit big shots for us in the end overs. i like his attitude while chasing.
Dravid Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 i think raina has pretty much cemented his place.. maybe thats y dhoni is giving guys like kholi, dk chances up the order in this useless series.. and give them confidence
zubinpepsi Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I am afraid kohli will be selected ahead of raina.. kohli has 5 50+ score in his last 6 inniings.. this is just too strong a performance to ignore.. sadly raina will go into the oblivion.. :(( Thanks Dhoni..
Show_stopper Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 i think raina has pretty much cemented his place.. maybe thats y dhoni is giving guys like kholi, dk chances up the order in this useless series.. and give them confidence x2. Zubin..have some confidence man. Its just not possible to supress a talent of the caliber of Raina.
champ Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 raina will go nowhere .. u guys are acting and whining like poyzz .. cut the crap ..
spectre Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I am afraid kohli will be selected ahead of raina.. kohli has 5 50+ score in his last 6 inniings.. this is just too strong a performance to ignore.. sadly raina will go into the oblivion.. :(( Thanks Dhoni.. I dont think so, Kohli would have to sit out, which is a hard thing Raina is given a specific role @ No.6 and he is going a great job @ it Infact Dhoni/Raina partnership has the best average in the world - around 80 Kohli would need chances and consistent performances in many more matches to come anywere close to Raina boy But its very good for India, these fantastic young players are kept on their toes , due to our strong batting lineup Its time of senior guys to watch out as well It may not long before the secured folks like Yuvi,Gautam are challenged for their places if they go through a lean patch
Shane Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Karthik should learn from Kohli to make the starts count, the fringe players should make every chance count and Kohli is doing a darn good job at that.
The Dark Horse Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Dinesh Karthik is as good a talent as Kohli or Raina but he has to perform. Unless he performs well he has to sit in the bench.
Aaku Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 MSD should take a rest for tomorrow's dead rubber and let KKD take up the glovework. We dont want another 'cuttack' :headshake: Ekdum lousy tha behind the wix ! But he's in great formmmmmmmm.. MashAllah ! :dd:
Guest Hiten. Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 We dont want another 'cuttack' :headshake: Ekdum lousy tha behind the wix ! But he's in great formmmmmmmm.. MashAllah ! :dd: Ghel ghagrini, that advice was for today's game :whack:
Aaku Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ghel ghagrini' date=' that advice was for today's game :whack:[/quote'] Never should and never will MSD be rested :whack: You ghel gho.. watever.. jo bhi hai ! :((
vvvslaxman Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Karthik should learn from Kohli to make the starts count' date=' the fringe players should make every chance count and Kohli is doing a darn good job at that.[/quote'] He does this "concentration thingy" before start of every over. Still it doesn't work. He seems to be in good touch. But he keeps finding ways to get out in the 30s and 40s.
