vvvslaxman Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Now he gets our attention. If he continues his form he will be posing a threat to others.
The Outsider Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I was checking the Ranji scores and when I saw this, I was certain to find this thread on top. :giggle: That's looks like a top knock - UP has a decent bowling attack.
Cricketics Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I have to say, that century knock in IPL has given Pandey some great confidene. Then Kumble and Dravid also have spoken highly of him in game interviews of IPL which would have given him even more confidence.
saneindian Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Just 2 days back, this boy was playing the Hong Kong Sixes series. Returned to India last evening and smashes one of the best bowling attacks in domestic cricket for 194*. Very very impressive. Hope he builds onto this great start for the year and piles on the runs.
bunny Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 From what I've seen of him, I find it hard to imagine him as a test player. He has got a great square drive though.

The Outsider Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Its real sad that these broadcasters neglect these matches for some stupid minnow series :banghead: Isn't Neo Cricket contractually bound to show a certain number of domestic matches every season?
SachDan Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Isn't Neo Cricket contractually bound to show a certain number of domestic matches every season? Yep. Since we have such a crowded schedule for the next five months, don't think they will show as many domestic matches as they did last season. This Bang-Zim series is shown on Neo sports, their channel for other sports.
davidcooper Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 i told u pandey is a great talent ahead of chumps like kohli and adeja
Shane Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Isn't Neo Cricket contractually bound to show a certain number of domestic matches every season? They are, I can't believe they chose Bangla-Zim over the Ranji's, I am not too optimistic about the broadcasts ahead either, with the SL tour and other future series, The least they could do would be to put it up on Neo Sports, its a useless channel anyways.
vvvslaxman Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 i told u pandey is a great talent ahead of chumps like kohli and adeja Kohli also did the same in domestic matches. He scored 3 centuries in a row in Ranji one dayers. He became the highest run getter for the last season. He made a century against visiting Australian side. He captained the under-19 team to victory. He did very well in Australia in emerging player tournament. He has come through ranks. And so far he has played against tough teams. Australia, Srilanka. He has played only 10 matches. For christ sake Dravid made the worst start possible to his ODi career. 3, 4, 3, 11, 22, 7, 13 were his ODI scores. Give it a rest with your witch hunting. Both are just 20 years old. They will eventually come around.
saneindian Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 i told u pandey is a great talent ahead of chumps like kohli and adeja Jadeja scored a 200 in a Ranji match last year..scored 700+ runs in the last Ranji season and took some 40 odd wickets too! Pandey is good , doesnt mean others become crap.
