vvvslaxman
Pakistan have not so bad bowlers' date=' asif is world class, kaneria and Gul are ok, aamer is promising... This is surely not a minnow bowling line up.... But if u want to look at centuries by looking bowling attacks we can... Just have a look at tendu winning centuries against Sri lanka in the early 90's with every bowler averaging more than 40... And also don't say ten against australia because there us JUST two against mc grath... It' s why there is no doubt that bc Lara is the best...[/quote'] Pakistan bowlers crap bowlers. No wonder they have lost 12 tests in a row to Australia. We don't count performance against Pakistan. Link to comment

vvvslaxman
Zimbabwe beat the crap out of this Pakistan side in their own backyard in the 90s :hysterical: West Indies has been at the bottom of the pile for a decade. These two teams are minnows. Link to comment

If Asif carries on with his current form he might reach his status. As for Gul, Kaneria and Aamer, please re-look their test averages Link to comment

S.Bond
who told you this :hysterical: So McDermott, Hughes, Warne, Gillespie, Kasprowicz, MacGill, B Lee , Johnson are all crap bowlers ... worse than Asif,Gul etc :--D They are all goodbowlers... But the real deal was to play against mc grath's austrlia... And there tendulkar failed... As he failed against W's and agains south Africa... But he is the greatest... Is that a joke or what??? akshayxyz
leave every other 'minnow' aside, lets see head-to-head. Sachin vs Australia - 21 (10,11) of 50+ scores in 55 innings. i.e. Sachin scored 50+ every 2.6 inning vs Australia Ponting vs India - 12 (6,6) of 50+ scores in 41 innings. i.e. Ponting scored 50+ every 3.44 innings vs India. And we know who had better support (bowling and batting). Ponting (vs India) - in India M, Innings, Avg, 100s, 50s 12 21 20.85 1 2 Sachin (vs Auz) in Australia: 16 30 58.53 6 5 Overall - Ponting home, away avg = 60.08, 49.23 Sachin home, away avg = 55.28, 55.44 So - Ponting is more of a home track bully - with a better bowling/batting support throughout most of his career. Ram
Lol, the troll speaks as though all the runs that Sachin scored against lesser teams came to his home gift-wrapped in a mail. When they have no real arguments to put forward, all these trolls have left is resort to such pathetic number crunching. Link to comment

CSK Fan
I love how some people pull some random stats of cricinfo and makes their own conclusions For eg its a commonly known fact among Pak fans that Sachin averaged only about 30s against Wasim and Waqar so they would have blown him aprt if he had played regularly against them. They owned him with their pace and guile Whats the reality? Even though Sachin played mostly against them when he was a teenager, in seven matches, in 12 innings, Sachin fell to Waqar and Wasim only ONCE each. He was troubled more by Saqlain and Qadir. Similarly a lot has been said about Sachin's average against McGrath. Even though McGrath did get him out a fair many times, Gillespie has got him out more times in the matches they both played together. Gillespie troubled Sachin more than McGrath did Link to comment
Anakin
:punter: vs Ind (whose bowling is generally "ordinary") and God vs OZs (the best team of his era), I think that's enough said. Link to comment
