Fail to understand what you're saying here. Aren't we playing the second test of this series at Edens? It was the matter where who could get ready quickly for the test match as it was decided quite late. Everyone has praised the facility at the new stadium in Nagpur. So can't see how Nagpur and Eden are bad choice for test matches!
Think back a bit and see how many Test matches in recent times have been scheduled at the big centres. This second Test at Eden is coming to the centre after a humongous time gap. Test centres seem to be given out on a quota system which I strongly protest against.
Both the matches are not played at the same ground. BP XI match is getting played at the old Vidarbha stadium in Nagpur while the test will be played at the new Vidarbha stadium which is 15 kms away from the main town of Nagpur and hence tests don't attract crowd here as it is too taxing to travel 15 km before 9 in the morning for five days to watch a test match.

I was actually ashamed at seeing the sparse crowd. It was a downright shame. And cometh a T20 game, Mohali again overflows. Tells you a lot, does it not?

So your problem is with the system, not with the present test series. It is fine then.

Mohali - given the stone cold reception that it gave Test match cricket, even when Sachin Tendulkar got to his Test record run aggregate is not a good Test match centre. Nagpur won't be much different as even this stadium is outside the city, same as Mohali.

I've sent a email to CI about the score. Let's see if they publish it. Keeping fingers crossed.
They can't do anything about it laaloo. They are as dependent on the TV as we are. All their live commentary is done by watching the match on TV. I'm really surprised to see that Neo decided to give it a miss this time. This is what happens when things (series itinerary) is decided at the 11th hour.

Were they snobbish in answering the call? Did they say anything about individual batsman's score or slammed the phone down before you could ask that?

BPs are 67/4. I just called up VCA and asked for the score. :hehe:
