saneindian Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Let's see whom we play next. SL in SL, 3 tests with sehwag having insured that Vaas is gone, Murali on the wane and Mendis struggling to get into the test team. We have a great chance of winning the series there (Hopefully IPL wont result in our key players out injured or missing as they are exhasuted). Next is NZ at home in Nov 2010, 3 tests. 2-0 would be a fair expectation. Then comes the big one, 3 tests vs SA in SA. Thats where we need to play at our absolute best and win the series there. Last time we came close, series was tied 1-1, and in the 3rd test, had a lead of 41 runs but faltered in the 2nd innings to lose the test by 5 wickets. I would expect us to win this one 2-1. Come 2011 WC and we will still be the number 1 test team in the world and the critics will be made to eat humble pie.
King Tendulkar Posted August 7, 2010 Author Posted August 7, 2010 We prove it again why we are best team in world. 4 first teamers out, lose the crucial toss. Yet we win again. India NUMBER 1:yay:
HowardRoark Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 We will...We will...ROCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robin Hood Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Outstanding stuff From Laxman, Tendulkar, Sehwag and Raina. Please take a bow. You have made us proud today.
satishg Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Awesome performance from our superstars. SRT's bloody minded knock and VVS's very very special 100, wow it was a treat to watch this chase. We must be blessed to have batsmen like them and Suresh Raina was simply effin awesome at the end :icflove:
Sachinism Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Give it 3 weeks we'll have some idiot whining bout how India don't deserve it Regardless of that, brilliant job
kabira Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 the gap is increasing between 1st and 2nd. Champions of Test cricket.
putrevus Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 they keep saying we dont deserve it but we keep on winning matches, we need to start winning series to STFU these critics, where is Manjerakar now
akshayxyz Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Imagine the result, had India won all the three tosses. It couldnt have been more difficult situation. Not having strike bowler, and 2-3 others out (gambhir, dravid, bhajji). Playing FTB at their home ground, and losing the toss, coming back from first test loss!!. What else do we need to prove?
diegovegaz Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 we showed character, won the game from a difficult situation, but there is a lot to improve to be able to dominate as no1
King Tendulkar Posted October 5, 2010 Author Posted October 5, 2010 Champion performance. Played against 13 players , we had only 9 at times due to injuries and lost the toss. Yet still win. Thats why we are number 1:isalute:
Hindustani Posted October 5, 2010 Posted October 5, 2010 This win proves nothing, India has to improve their bowling and fielding by some margin to call themselves Champions, lets wait for SA series
