asterix
too many Ishant haters here . I just saw couple of overs of his bowling , was consistently hitting ~137mph , top speed of 139....was bowling well . make flat wickets & you guys expect our pace bowlers to run through good batting lineups ..amazing ! What has flat wicket got to do with wayward line? He is not even troubling the no. 11 batsman. Link to comment
sreej
Ishant is the Indian Mohammad Sami Link to comment

Jersey #10
Enough reasons to send Ishant back to domestic? WORST ECONOMY RATE OF 2009 Ishant Sharma In 153.5 overs, Ishant Sharma leaked 969 runs, an economy rate of 6.29. He was the only bowler to concede more than a run per ball. Ashish Nehra was close, with an economy rate of 5.92. :hmmm: It's sad Source? http://www.cricinfo.com/awards2009/content/story/448892.html you can go to the link to look at all the awards based solely on statistics. :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
Texan
Yes. In tests, we need to try A Mithun or R Vinay Kumar In ODIs/T20s, bring Irfan Pathan and Agarkar back. Link to comment

fineleg
BCCI should try to use their influence to see if Ishant Sharma and RP Singh can be sent for English County cricket or some training in Australia. RP Singh is another talented bowler who is missing in form now. IPL is not going to help IS or RPS. Link to comment
ensd2
Its sad to say that , I think he is one of the most overrated bowler. We must give chance to others youngsters like Tyagy Link to comment
Serani
Ishant has lost so much pace its ridiculous, not sure how its possible to go from 90mph + to high 70's and low 80's within the space of 2 years. Also he doesnt seem to move the ball at all which makes it nearly impossible for him to get wickets. Link to comment
ViruRulez
Also' date=' bring Munaf back for ODIs[/quote'] no jokes please :giggle: Link to comment
patriot
Will a county stint help Ishant to be back to his best ? Being that Zak and Sree made super impressive comebacks after their respective county stints, I would love to see Ishant play this season. I think it would be a better learning curve than playing Ranji. Link to comment
Aaku
Also' date=' bring Munaf back for ODIs[/quote'] You should be hanged for sucha comment :protest: Link to comment

msb1991
He only found his form in domestic cricket towards the end of the season, prior to that, he was being outbowled by Shivastava and Praveen Kumar. Link to comment
