thevortex Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Hey guys, Finally the Cricinfo guys have bent their rigid editorial standards and allowed one of my pieces to be published there. Maybe they got tired of me sending in piece after silly piece and insisting on calling them cricket articles . The link to the article is to be found below" http://blogs.cricinfo.com/inbox/archives/2010/02/crickets_own_vicar.php As always I value the thoughts and comments of our esteemed members as well.

thevortex Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 Awesome stuff bro' date=' I read it on here yesterday. Good job. Can't believe how soon after it happening you had it ready[/quote'] Thanks everybody. Looks like the comments dont appear instantly. I still see no comments out there at Cricinfo. But special thanks to those who did take the time to comment there. And Sachinism I generally take about half an hour to an hour to write a cricket article. Blame it on my poor memory (one more reason I dont have anything to do with stats). An hour after a match I generally tend to forget minor details :). I have nothing but awe for the various gentlemen I meet and talk with who so accurately remember specific happenings in ODI matches years ago.

thevortex Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 My approval? Hmm...wonder how that will take place given that I do not even have a Cricinfo account :) Perhaps the powers that be at Cricinfo would be taking care of the approval and we will get to see them tomorrow. If not, I will contact them. Thanks, Lord, for taking the time.
