frankly speaking it depends ... at the same time we lost to Aussies even with our A team when they were playing their B team .. we have played well and players were in form as well as luck was in our favor .. but I would say SA bowling was not as good as Aussie bowling for sure

Not really we lost two close games by 3 and 4 runs respectively. And that made the difference otherwise we would have won that series by 4-2. Australia plays well in tough situations and they have the ability to win close matches. But we are also developing that ability. Thanks to our bowlers like Nehra. He made the first ODI a thriller. Nehra is a gadha and will remain a gadha. I hope someone breaks his leg. Or someone transfers the knee problems of Yuvi to Nehra.

South Africa beat Australia 4-1 in Australia without Smith playing, so it is not like they become rubbish just because Smith isn't around. We beat them because we played better - end of.

that is what I am saying ..need a bit of luck too .. we lost the Aus series due to luck too .. instead of losing 4-2 we could have won that series 4-2 but luck was on Aus favor .. so cannot say that we can surely beat this or that team with this or that lineup .. in 9/10 times we would have beaten that Aus B team easily but we did not .. so everything matters and is relative .. nobody can guarantee

In all honesty, we prolly would have won this series 2-1 in the last game. 200* is very rare :D

Lol, we were playing to lose in the first match and now just played 1 good match suddenly sa are crap. Remember, they beat us also by 1 innings in the test so they are without doubt a top team

With our crap bowling even before SA started their chase in the first match. Most of us were thinking that indian bowlers won't be able to defend that target. It was one lucky partnership when they had nothing to lose and were swinging their bats just like Praveen Kumar and Bhajji did against Australia few months ago. South Africa didnt win at home against Aus and Eng. And i am sure they wont against us also later this year. And remember we returned the favor by beating them with an inning and 50+ runs. Even when 60 overs were lost due to rain and bad light on the fourth day.
