i believed that too earlier until I was pwned:((.Sanga doesnt keep anymore in tests. n his average as keeper isnt great
Yeah but he played as a wicket keeper batsman 75% of his life. So why not?

^ Yes. It was sad. But Sanga is a legend with the bat and also behind the stumps. He's like the new Gilly. But Dhoni I feel is a slightly more consistent batter than Kumar.

MSD's a better batsman than a wicket-keeper. In Church's defence, he was both. I hope Bradman99 reads this and reframes his opinions :two_thumbs_up: And MSD is a legend in the making with the bat. His average :adore:
What you mean ? I think Dhoni is currently the best ODI wicky/batsman, but in tests I'm not sure if he still keeps but if he does then I would say Sangakarra.

In ODI dhoni is better that Gilchrist
Nah, yoiu can't underestimate what Ghilchrist did for Australia for so many years at the top of the order. He took so many risks for the team and got us off to so many explosive starts. On the other hand Dhoni doesn't quite play like that, at least not all the time. I think it is hard to compare the two because both play different roles for their team, but if you were to ask me I'd take Gilly any day.

I would go for Mahi.

:hysterical:
Being you, this is probably useless: Take a page out of Bradman's book & show a little respect for other people's opinions. You might just get some in return. Instead of getting all hysterical, just say who is best in your opinion. Everybody is entitled to one, so shoot.

The guy has 4 test centuries averaging a bit above 40.. he's got a long way until he will be considered one of the best, let alone second behind Gilchrist. I'm not saying he can't, but his career is still young at this stage. Let's not get too excited.

For a wicket keeper to effect dismissals, the bowlers should be gud enough to induce an edge, As far as i have seen Indian fast / medium bowlers get their wickets when the batsman has hit them all over the park and miscued one to the edge of the circle or the boundary... exceptions are there of course... Gilly kept to world class bowlers and kept getting edges.... As far as i have seen both of them rarely drop catches or miss stumpings... but dhoni has along way still to go in his career.... Gilly's career is over... lets postpone this debate till Dhoni atleast reached the end of his career

I stood up for Church. Did you notice that? I'm not anti-Aussie cricketers. I hate their antics. Having said that, Gilly, Hauritz, Mark Taylor, James Hopes and to some extent Shane Watson & Brett Lee are true gentlemen. The first 4 hardly utter a word on the field and let the performances talk for them. That, my friend, is how cricket should be played. I'm sure you agree.

Yes, I also like those players. But like in life, not all personalities are the same. You have your characters, people who like to stir things up and as well as it's all in good spirit I don't see a problem with it.

lol' date=' I dont know what batting like a drain is but it must be bad because quite a few peeps have said it to me in club cricket, and with my batting it cant be a compliment.[/quote'] He might not look pretty all the times. There are sometimes you have to be in awe of "Milk man's power" :winky:
