vvvslaxman Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 No.1 Muppet should be that srivastava guy who effected an accurate throw at Laxman's wrist. No.2 Ishant who messed up one of the easiest run out chance in the history of cricket. Probably right next to Tufnell's run out miss and his own goof ups in various other formats.
Guest DeveGowda Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 No 3..Goswami he also missed a runout chance when both batsmen in opposite end..!
vvvslaxman Posted March 21, 2010 Author Posted March 21, 2010 what is a muppet? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=muppets
lonestarranger Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Biggest Muppet : Mohammed Kaif Nobody knows why he's still playing cricket. Not even Kings Punjab's owners :D
vvvslaxman Posted March 22, 2010 Author Posted March 22, 2010 Today Irfan Pathan almost turned into a muppet with that needless throw. But in a way that helped Ashwin get the strike back.
abhinav Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 ABDV: for getting a explosive and well set Warner run out and then duly getting clean bowled on a spinner's full toss. Not to forget his four consecutive failures before last evening's game
achilles Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Biggest Muppet : Mohammed Kaif Nobody knows why he's still playing cricket. Not even Kings Punjab's owners :D :giggle: But he'll be back in form soon. ABDV: for getting a explosive and well set Warner run out and then duly getting clean bowled on a spinner's full toss. Not to forget his four consecutive failures before last evening's game Lal :hehe:
saneindian Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Gony How about Ashwin? Scores level, 2 balls to go and yet cant score the run!!
gaurav92 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Aswin went Misbah's way in the group clash against India India won in the bowl out
saneindian Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Aswin went Misbah's way in the group clash against India India won in the bowl out LOL, what an apt comparison!! I hope Ashwin doesnt do a Misbah in the IPL finals!
saneindian Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Naah, to me it doesnt matter! Dont follow any team in particular, am more interested in following how some of the Indian youngsters are performing for their teams.
gaurav92 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 ^Alright.Hope you are happy with the performance of Youngsters like Manish Pandey, Uthappa, Kohli, they have been doing fabulously well in this season.I am not too concerned about Kohli, but so far hasnt got much chances because of Kallis, not being dismissed yet
saneindian Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Yep, quite happy to see Pande folliwng a brilliant domestic season with a strong IPL. Should be a certainty for the t20 WC now. Similarly Uthappa, Tiwary, Umesh Yadav, Rayudu, Suuman have all done well..Hope to see Varun Aaron bowl at some point of time.
