Guest Hiten.
You havent lost this one yet. Bravo just hit a six...Mi will win.Kxi has to do something extra ordinary and pick 3-4 wickets. My assessment was not based on this match. This is where BRC has an edge over MI because of their fiery MO line up. MI are too dependent on SRT. DomainK
MI will win alright, but they took it a little too easy.
Guest Hiten.
Really poor batting by MI for real. Punjab lost it more than MI winning it

Guest Hiten.
Managing to win inspite of having Pollard and Bravo is some achievement.. Quite true. Both are as good as useless in bowling and are totally ineffective when it comes to batting :wall:. Had there been a better fielding display by KXI in the last few overs they would have won. SachDan
Quite true. Both are as good as useless in bowling and are totally ineffective when it comes to batting :wall:. Had there been a better fielding display by KXI in the last few overs they would have won. Had Mumbai done the same throughout the match, this would have been a cakewalk :)
ViruRulez
but but but .. DD kept on winning league matches in the last two IPLs and went on to suck in the semis ... MI is following that trend too this year :P

MI are too dependent on SRT. Very much true IMO. Already this weakness was exposed in the only match they lost. SRT dependant MI. Over that KP's addition into RCB has added more strength to it. I guess once MI secures a place in semis they'll give Sanath Jayasuriya a go, as if he finds form that should be absolute mayhem for the opposition + he's a useful bowler + experience counts! Cricketics
For some reason, even after winning so many games, Mumbai team doesn't impress me that much the way delhi looked all strong last year after winning as many games, infact more than this. Rajiv
Probably coz there is no vibrant hitting and everyone is just doing their job to win the games, but it all boils down to semi and final - rest of these wont matter
Cricketics
^quite true, though have to see mumbai has two of the best seam bowlers in the business. Zaheer and Malinga. Especially Zaheer. The guy looks gone so much slim so fast.
Sujan
Malinga's spot on, much much better than Zaheer. Both have done an incredible job for MI.

ViruRulez
Mumbai Indians have built a solid team this year .. they have got the best of domestic talent as well as the best of bowlers .. they can afford to play 2-3 foreign players and still win as their domestic talents are very good .. Sachin in fact selected 3 players in the first match and still won They have great hitters, great bowlers and good all rounders .. in the three seasons of IPL this seems to be the first perfectly balanced team and even DD which looked great last year was not as good as this .. but sadly Mumbai will lose half of the side in auctions next year and the same team building will start over once again next year .. really this is the team which looks to be the team to beat .. it would not be wrong to say that this team might even beat our national T20 team minus the MI players .. this team is really very strong and hope that they dont stumble in the semis etc. .. this team can win the Champions League also this year if they perform to potential
