yoda Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Sachin doesn't play international T-20s cause when the first T-20 WC team selection issue came up, all three SRT/Dravid/Ganguly decided together that they will give T-20 a pass, also making the selection/non-selection of oldies a non-issue. This was ofc before IPL. There is no official version if people are going to ask for proof, just what we all came to know via media reports then.
flamy Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Purists :hehe: IPL only holds 60 games in total :hysterical::hysterical:. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
abhinav Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 From Anand Ramachandran's blog: Meanwhile, an association of IPL-haters has unexpectedly petitioned the BCCI to extend the tournament by another two weeks. "We have spent the last 40 days mocking the commentators, criticising Lalit Modi, ridiculing the MRF blimp and complaining about how the IPL is killing cricket. Now that the tournament is coming to an end, we will have absolutely nothing to do. It is unfair on the part of the organisers to deprive us of our basic right to crib about the league, and hence we are asking for a two-week extension," said R Ramalingam, the leader of this obviously unruly and unreasonable group. Ramalingam also said that he would not rest until he and his supporters achieved their ultimate goal, of eventually convincing the BCCI and the ICC to make the IPL a non-stop, year-long tournament. "We hate the IPL so much, we can't imagine life without it." he said.

Mr. Wicket Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 the scores from this match look like a tontee tontee match with 4 innings dinakkar, did you watch this game live or on TV? What a match that was. The final (third) day had some of the most gripping, thrilling cricket I've ever watched. http://ishare.rediff.com/video/cricket/australia-allout-93/353813 - btw, check out the wickets here. Worth noting SRT's reaction at 1:30 onwards when he takes that catch to remove Gilchrist.

Prakat Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 20/20 needs cheerleaders to pull in the crowds while Test match audiences will even sit through a rain storm. Doesn't seem like Test cricket has anything to worry about.
